Dickwad Keown looked absolutely shell shocked on MOTD

Apparently he can't remember "a more tepid performance from us in the last 20 years". Funny that coz I can remember one in the last 20 fucking days.

Don't worry Martin, once you go home and get a rim job from John Cross you'll be back to normal and telling us all to be careful what we wish for by the morning

There isnt even any standard with Wenger. He has no base floor, we get smashed game after game after game, and no one says anything.

When they ask us to be careful what we wish for, what to the expect would happen that is worse than routine heavy losses? 5-1 3-1 3-1 losses to Bayern, Chelsea and Liverpool...........thats rock bottom.

All the other top teams want us to keep Wenger as they know we've got a squad of players who are coasting and could actually win the big trophies if we had a top quality manager. Wenger is a top 4 manager, we want a top 1 manager.

I haven't a clue how accurate these are but if u do the maths it's actually way under £192 million wages. Obviously the scouts who are working day and night 7 days a week have to be factored in and the manager of the decade aswell.

But fuck me if some of these are in the ball park its outlandish to say the least. Particularly as he was hamstrung financially with moving to the new stadium to compete with Europe's elite.

Is he really trying to buy loyalty and affection or what is the story. I always try break it down to the cost of my season ticket - I would have to be a season ticket holder for the next 70 years to pay one weeks wages for that big cowardly ducking german vagina who happens to be our captain. Don't get me started on sir flicksalot.

To think of the way he shat on the likes of Super Bob, Dennis (if ever there was someone who earned the right to decide when he leaves) etc in their twilight years and the whole Arsehole Cole fiasco over €5000 makes it even worse.

Every single one of this current crop of perennial losers will never have nothing but plaudits for the *word censored* who made them rich far beyond what they have proven to be worth.

Those figures look about right.

The obvious jokers in the pack being Jenkinson on £45k and Debuchy on £70k, that's £115k a week p*ssed away before we start!.

Then we have Ramsey on £110k (wtf!) I'm guessing he signed that deal quickly after his purple patch in 13/14?, when he's really more of a £70k (max) player, same applies to Walcott really, just because he's English he thinks he's worth more, if he wasn't he'd A. have been shipped out years ago and B. be on no more than £60-70k.

Giroud as well is one who is a pay grade above his station. £100k a week for a striker who is only ever effective as a sub. Coquelin I'm guessing similar to Ramsey got a new deal at the right time when he's barely more than a £20k player, I'm guessing that is championship first team money?, being generous here!.

I'm not 100% but I think we gave Santi a new deal this season?, well I hope it's pay as you play because although he's a class act £90k a week for a player who will probably play no more than 10 games a season from now on is a bit steep...

If we don't he will just bide his time and then sign one at the end of the year.

Half hoping he would consider his position, but no dont think that will happen after listening to him, he's more entrenched in his opinions than ever

Remarkably I think he will disregard everything, and sign a new 2 year deal probably in May

Crack on abusing him
Hooefully Tuesday will reinforce these feelings , if we can get decent numbers outside armoury that he/ players see when they arrive (do they arrive in a coach for home games or come by their own cars)?) then it's really going to get to him.

What amazes me, is Wenger potentially signing a new contract would not be because he is building toward something or has unfinished business, on the contrary, we will lose Ozil and Sanchez and it will be Cesc/Nasri all over again and we will have to rebuild. So what is in store for Arsenal and Wenger over the next two years, other than shared misery, resentment, and anger?

There is no logical explanation to reward him with a new deal. He isnt working or building toward anything, he is simply keeping his head above water, yet this season he is finally starting to drown by the way of finishing outside the top 4.

This season, I foresee Ozil and Sanchez leaving, and the club not having CL football next season. We will be in the gutter, and therefore not in a position to give Wenger a miracle send off by winning the league. As if we cant get close with Ozil and Sanchez, we wont get any closer without them.

So the next two years.......whats the plan? Is there a plan, or will Wenger drift aimlessly for another two years? This is what really infuriates me - we are a club without direction or a plan. We are facing the bleak prospect of losing our two best players, and not being in the CL, so why isnt the club looking for a clean break and new manager to come in and rebuild? Why would they give another two year contract to damaged goods, who would rebuild the team in his own image, before eventfully leaving two years later, and then a new manager would come in inheriting Wenger's Arsenal post Sanchez/Ozil. The timing calls for a new manager is NOW! All the Wenger lovers loathe the fact the next manager will have a rebuilding job. As they always believed the first manager post Weger would come in and cruise on Wenger's coat tails, however, the reality is, the new manager will inherit a club on its knees. Again, the club will shift to rebuilding phrase after this season, so why the F does Wenger get to have two years rebuilding before before passing the job over, as opposed to a new manager coming in NOW and rebuilding the team in his own image?

Its infuriating as it comes of as if the club are a theme park ride and Wenger just wants another two goes on the roller coaster before going home for good.

But only if Wenger agrees to step down. Beyond ridiculous at this stage.
If this is true, and Wenger had the interest of the clubs future at heart he should go,but we all know the outcome........ :banghead: :banghead:

We could lose our next three fixtures 5-0 (including Lincoln) but he'd still be given a contract renewal if he creeps home in 4th ahead of the pitiful Man Utd and Liverpool teams. It's all about the 4th place trophy. Conversely he could win the FA Cup (obviously not going to happen) finish in 5th and get nudged out the door.

I would take either of these in a heartbeat - But if given the choice I would prefer Koeman, whether he would see Arsenal as a viable alternative is another matter, with the new Everton owners ready t splash the cash this summer.

Source BBC Website:

Everton manager Ronald Koeman, 53, is the favourite to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal. Barcelona are also keen to bring Koeman to the club. (Sunday Mirror)

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, 49, has verbally agreed to take over at the Gunners if 67-year-old Arsene Wenger decides not to carry on as boss beyond this season. (Sunday Express).
