The Reality is that even if Mr. Wenger signs a new 2 year contract, and even if we don't make the Top 6, and even if Sanchez/ Özil go ( worst case scenario... and I see that happening ) then Kroenke will replace Sanchez/Özil with two "World Class Players", and probably buy a couple of big-money signings to add to that, as he did with Xhaka and Mustafi last summer.
What have you been smoking?, Kroenke has about as much ambition as most of the guests on Jeremy Kyle show. I predict that if this c**t sticks around much beyond Wenger we'll end up going the way of Everton in the 80's or Liverpool in the 90's, we will be top 7 or 8 but not much more.
There is simply no evidence to suggest he has any great ambition for his 'British soccer franchise',
I want Kroenke out as well.
I think you missed the point I was making. Maybe I didn't make it clearly enough. I have had a smoke already this morning, sorry.
Kroenke's "ambition" is to have a Franchise that is playing in the Premier League in England, and is making a profit. Regular exposure in the European Champions League is also nice, as is winning the occasional Trophy.
Look at it from his point of view.
He doesn't know anything about football.
But he knows what he wants.
He likes collecting sports franchises.
He has plenty of them already.
They are his little trinkets.
Now when you have that much money the natural progression is to have a premier league "trinket". He's got one. Hurra!
He has loads of other trinkets, and isn't really interested in soccer as a viewing spectacle, so he's not going to come over and watch the games. He probably ( definitely ) doesn't watch The Arsenal when we're playing, or care about the line-ups or substitutions.
What's important for him is that his franchise is making a profit and that they are successful.
In the Grand Scheme of Things...
We finished 2nd in the Premier League last season. SECOND! It's a "big" thing, relatively speaking.
We won the FA Cup twice in the last few seasons, and are now joint record-holders in wins.
This is also a "big thing" in sport.
We're ALWAYS in the Champions League. ALWAYS.
Arsenal Football Club are VERY successful as a football club.
I'll give you an example.
I know f*** all about american football.
I have heard of the Dallas Cowboys. It is probably because of Debbie, but anyway...
So I googled Dallas COwboys on wiki...
( this is my method of finding out a few basic facts )
Read this page...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_Cowboys
I can read that they are a "BIg Team" in this "Sport".
I can read that in 2014 and 2016 they won something called the
NFC East:
Which is a "Division championship"
Hurra!
My "team", the Dallas Cowboys are a big team in American football, and are still winning things.
Excellent!
That's what Kroenke sees.
We - The Arsenal - are a big team that is still winning things.
Yeah!
I hate the wiggy c***, and I would shoot him in the face if I could.
But we are successful.
