THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I've seen some bullshit in recent years at The Arsenal, but this job of throwing Alexis under the bus is next level and has really pissed me off. It's obvious what's happened isn't it?
Alexis has told the club he won't be signing a new contract, so obviously we'll sell him this summer because we can't possibly let him walk away for free.
Now the club can't possibly have word get out that Alexis won't sign because he doesn't think we're ambitious enough/doesn't trust Wenger/doesn't agree with where we're heading (exactly the same reasons as RvP by the way), so the club have had to concoct this story for why we simply had to sell him - "Oh, he's a troublemaker, causing disharmony in the ranks, disrespecting his team mates & manager" etc etc etc Utter utter bollocks, our club is infiltrated with *word censored* at every level.
What the club haven't realised is just how pathetic their statement makes Wenger look. Sanchez is too difficult for Arsene to handle? He wants to win too much? Awww diddums. Yeah, we best get rid and replace him with a bunch more awful yes-men such as Eboue, Gervinho, Ramsey, Denilson etc who will never have the balls to actually win anything but can't believe their luck to be playing for The Arsenal and receiving £100 a week,
It's not often that we can say Arsenal have one of the best players in the world, that any other club on the planet would give their right arm to sign. But we do right now, and not only are we failing to do everything possible to keep him, we're actively driving him out of the club to spare the blushes of our dinosaur manager who has been entirely useless and incompetent for a decade.
This has pissed me right off.

Absolutely correct.Any self-respecting manager will tell them to FO!.So we're supposed to believe that Arsenal have spoken to one of the top managers around

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Absolutely. This time though, it's different. Wenger is truly fucking despised and Sanchez is the only world-class player we have. The idea of selling the best player we have but keeping the shittest, most pathetic excuse for a manager makes me fucking angry.Dan_85 wrote:I've seen some bullshit in recent years at The Arsenal, but this job of throwing Alexis under the bus is next level and has really pissed me off. My thoughts exactly. Wenger is going to fly off the handle when he realises that Steiner's Ninth Army isn't going to save him.rodders999 wrote:The club have done a PR hatchet job on their best player in order to give their backing to the manager.
It's like the last days in the bunker in Berlin, everyone knows the end is coming, everyone knows it's going to get bloody but every dirty trick that's left on the table is going to get played until we're all put out of our misery.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I see the character assassination on Sanchez has started...wonder what those muppets will do with the Sanchez dog banner? Put them down?
This is all so familiar...but it will be spun against an ambitious player. He can see the club from top to bottom is content with mediocrity and wants out and yet he is the villain....look forward to seeing our best player leave because he cares too much and us being left with tossers like the ear cupper who are mugging us off!
Just wait for the AKB sheep to start slagging Sanchez...it will come. All so depressing...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Our club is in a right mess. We had forward momentum from 1987 until 2007. Dein threw us under the bus by introducing Kroenke now he does nothing and his investment becomes better each year.
Wenger threw us under the bus in 2007 also and sits happily making 8.5 Million a year.
To sum it up its a shambles and don't expect any success while our board cares nothing for success because Arsenal are making money from tv and the stadium. Wenger and Kronke need to go.

Using your analogy, I think Wenger must believe Iwobi is the footballing equivalent of Jimmy Page.robbo10 wrote:You couldn't make it up could you.......It's like Pink Floyd turning up for a world tour and saying "Right Gilmour, you ain't playing tonight,we'll drag some amateur out of the crowd to play lead guitar", We are so far beyond a fucking joke now,Block93 wrote:Scene: Pre-match, at Anfield.

Arsene: "Bouldy?"
Bouldy: "Boss, Boss, let's leave Mesut out as well!"
Arsene: "Bouldy, that is a brilliant suggestion, I'm going to leave that waste of space out as well. Bouldy....?."
Bouldy: "Boss?"
Arsene: "That Spanish fellow we signed, think he calls himself Perez, he looks sharp, scores goals, so he's out the team too"

Now you are talking my language, Wenger first then the Board!.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
After Ranieris' treatment at Leicester where his best mate Conti was virtually speechless at a PL winner being stabbed in the back, do you really think Allegri would take a job here with this disrespecting club? Do me a favour!..TeeCee wrote:One more thing......this utter bollocks in the papers about Arsenal talking to Allegri and having an agreement that he will be Arsenal boss IF Wonga leaves!!!!!!!
So we're supposed to believe that Arsenal have spoken to one of the top managers around and said.....'you can come and manage us if our current specialist in failure decides he doesn't want another few easy years doing fuck all'........if you were Allegri you'd tell them to fuck right off!! You either want me or you don't!! Utter utter bollocks. They'll announce Wonga's new contract before the Bayern game!!

God knows if ever a club needed a top player to be a "disruptive influence" by being pissed off at the way things are being done it's at Wanka's home for pampered mediocre babies FC

Disruptive my Arse..
Passionate yes and we luv him!
Never forget the look Sanchez gave Bellerin at Liverpool when he failed to latch on to one of his best moves, and when Liverpool scored their first goal, the wry grin at Wenger was priceless...
One thing about Sanchez is, he is loyal, up front and passionate, what you see is what you get! "WYSIWYG", something this club has missed for a long time now...
