yup there loss is our gain! And i'm definetely convinced Abidal is in the team due to playing for Barca, the guy is terrible, no skill or control on the ball, especially during the matches against Utd in Champions League!
The guy Domenech ain't got a clue I see he's included Flamini is his 30, he came under a lot of criticism for not including him for England friendly.

Bloody hell....i've only just cottoned on.....NO SAGNA!!!!!!!
They picked Sagnol instead, even though he can't get in the Bayern team???
This is weird....very weird.
I just hope our players don't start thinking they have to leave for a bigger club to be recognised at international level!

I agree with everyone's sentiments on here, Clichy and Sagna are just the best; and if Domenech thinks they aren't good enough then their loss is our gain. Seeing that our two full-backs have been our most consistent and ever-appearing players this season, they probably deserve the most rest
It also makes you wonder for England. If Clichy can't even get into France's squad while Shorey and Bridge get into England's 11 then...

As French football fans know, Domenech is a prick. Abidal is clearly inferior to both Clichy and Evra, and Clichy is the better of the Premiership-based left-backs.
As for Sagna, in Bacary's own words, his omission is "bizarre". See http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=701243.

As just a french guy, and as many other French people, I agree with you!As French football fans know, Domenech is a prick.
Just a few examples why we all hate domenech:
- Never included Bobby Pires in the french squad cause Bobby had been dating his wife before and he never got over it.
- Tried to get rid of Zidane before the 2006 world cup saying he was too old. Errr... We's never gotten to the final if for Zizou!!
- Always been sucking balls of ex-lyon Manager Jean Michel Aulas and been putting Lyon players in even if theyre not up to it! (See the likes of Malouda F.CLerc and Govou)
-Never liked trezeget because one day trezeget told the press that Domenech didn't know what he was doing.
- And for god's sake! The guy openly admits that he refers to astrology to make his selections!!! OMG!!!
The only reason France is getting anywhere, it's not because of the coach but because of the very talented players. I think we're a bit like chelsea at the moment...

I don't like to think of Les Bleus as equivalent to Chelsea but you're right. But I (and, no doubt, lots of other Arsenal fans) will be cheering on France this summer, even with Domenech as coach.FrenchGun wrote:The only reason France is getting anywhere, it's not because of the coach but because of the very talented players. Allez les bleus!
