Wenger Out protest thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

All the best of luck to everyone going to the protest tonight. I wish I could be there tonight but will certainly attend a future one on a weekend game.

I think it is amazing how this has gained traction in the media and a mention on sky is big news. I think it is almost certain to be brought up on BT so hope to see lots of pictures and video on Facebook and Twitter etc.

Stay safe and watch your backs. Who knows what some of that AKB mob are capable of. Good luck all! :barscarf:

Cunting him off is no less than he deserves, and I would def be joining in if I was able to attend - I previously voiced my concerns about the protest being too timid and questioned how successful it would be if it was "too nice", so I certainly wouldn't be in favour of a tea party atmosphere

Just listened to that, very well spoken Mark, well done mate.

And I noticed that prick Cascsarino had to get his little dig in at the end though with his ''should there be protest against Mourinho because Man United are below Arsenal in the table''

The likes of Cascarino have slagged off Arsenal and criticised Wenger for years but as soon as fans do it they dont like it. It's as if we are not allowed to because thats their job. Sadly for them we do it better and are more informed than these thick fuckers.
They all do it mate. Was exactly the same wh Oh couldn't open a paper without reading how lon g since wed last won a trophy and th whole world was laughing at the price of our tickets. But the fans complain and it's completely unacceptable.

Cascarino is a fuckwit. Like Savage, Lineker, Shearer, Neville and all the other arsehole pundits and ex-players that take the piss out of The Arsenal, the players, and Wenger for years - and then get all precious and climb on their fucking social media pedestals in horror when the actual ticket-buying life-long-Arsenal-supporting fans dare to question the endless Groundhog Season Entity our club has become. Fuck them. :censored:

The Online Gooner, Gooner fanzine, GOONER2GOONER forum (still hate that name btw   ), it's owners and moderators in no way condone, encourage or endorse violence or the threat of violence against fellow Arsenal fans (even in jest or as part of online banter).

Unless it's against SPUDMASHER. 8)

Massive issues at London Bridge and no trains going there at present.

Shows how much I think of my club that my first thought is "I wonder if this is the club trying to sabotage the protest"?

An eye witness said that a tall man with grey hair wearing a grey jacket was seen scurrying away from the scene of the chaos. The vehicle has been left with leetle bit handbrake on.

To the tune of One Arsene Wenger

This is the best song option yet. It's simple, direct and makes the only point that needs to made tonight. The protest is about forcing Wenger out and the message needs to be plain and simple. I agree with Augie's early comment that songs about old players etc are not appropriate tonight. They will dilute the focus and potentially send mixed messages. Armchair's effort also strikes home, because it takes the fucking "One Arsene Wenger" anthem and turns it on it's head.

I realise that it's now very late in the day, but some control over what is sung / chanted needs to be exercised. It has to be about Wenger, nothing else. The Old Fraud is only leaving if he decides to leave, as we all know, they'll never sack him, so we need to be intense and precise in targeting him. His ego is bigger than Canada and our only hope is to prick that ego and antagonise it, let him know how seriously unwanted he is.

Keep the songs and chants simple and effective and personal, without foul language.

Arsene Wenger's tragic
He wears a tragic hat
But when he saw 8 million
He said I'm having that

We want you to go
We want you to go-ooo
Arsene Wenger, we want you to go (Flipping the chav and scum piss take around)

And simply :
Wenger Wenger Wenger
Out out out

Hardly Cole Porter, but you get the idea.
