Wrong thread

Re: Wenger Out protest, Tuesday 7th March.
I was very pleased and very proud to be part of the protest tonight
Had a few good chats with like-minded Gooners who have had enough of The Old Fraud, whilst we waited the half hour to set off. I seen Nick's banner as well as Xistential's. I think the memories banner was at the front.
I seen Lee from AFTV as well as Chris Hudson on the march. We were singing around Avenell and Gillespie Road and round into Drayton Park, taking the South Bridge towards the Armoury and the cannons. There were tons of cameras, from fans and media. I was singing so much I was coughing.
When we got to the Armoury at Cashburton, I seen DT with his banner. I ended up standing next to him as photos were taken with his banner. After, I shook his hand and thanked him for his passionate opinions.
I said hello to Xisstential as he was going into the ground, so I'm glad I met at least one OG poster tonight
The only disappointing is that the protest seemed to just end at about ten past seven which was when soon after we got to the Armoury. Everyone seemed to be going into the ground.
I also bumped into Robbie Lyle from AFTV who secretly thinks it's time for TOF to go. We had a chat about how stale things are the the club and how well Chavski are dong with a new manager. I was a little tempted to do an AFTV interview, seeing it'd be my only chance as I don't go to games, but the camera was put away. A bloke asked me to take a photo of him and Robbie. I would have shook Robbie's hand, but I think he went into the ground too. I also seen Moh being interviewed by someone. A few fans were interviewed by press.
So I hung around outside for another 10-15 minutes, but there was no WOB banners or presence that I could add to, so ultimately I went home, only missing the first five minutes of the dead rubber. I wonder how many photos and videos I am in, lol.
I think it was a very positive step today. Any dissent inside Cashburton will be shouted down by the AKB's. Hardly noticed any dissent from any AKB wankers on the outside, the only disappointment was that the protest fizzled out so quickly as everyone went inside, as I thought some were staying outside the ground until 7:55.

Nice One Sean and "WELL DONE" mate!
Every journey begins with the first step and tonight was the first step (Proper)...There will be many more and (I believe) many more will join and let their voices and steps be heard.

WOW!!!
I'm on my way home now and I'm shattered but buzzing. Got to the Marble Halls just before 6pm and wasn't sure what to expect. Did a few TV interviews (very politely!) and then we set off at 6.30. The first chant was WE WANT WENGER OUT and I was blown away by the volume and the intensity.
There was only 1 person all night that shouted anything negative and that was only "support the team".
Not sure of numbers but from the front it sounded really really loud.
And perhaps more importantly - there were so many cameras. Couldn't see where they were from but there must've been in excess of 50 snappers.
Really really proud of everyone that turned out tonight.

Well done to everyone who attended, very good start and from small acorns etc
Not sure if the attendance disappointed some but i was impressed for a first attempt, i would suggest for a future protest a home match on a weekend would get more attendance as a lot of people going tonight would have been rushing home from work to get to the game, and not really have had enough time to attend the protest before getting to the game

That comment is part of what we are up against... There are idiots who are unable to differentiate between Arsenal FC and wenger..They really are simpletons who should not be allowed to go anywhere near a busy road, never mind a football ground.
Re: Wenger Out protest, Tuesday 7th March.
I think there will have been a fair few waiting to see how this passed off tonight before deciding whether to join in with a further protest. The fact that it sounds as though it went peacefully and was noticed by the press can only help.
On to Saturday now?
