Think there needs to be a definite endpoint. Last night we kind of ended walking around the Emirates until it fizzled out.mattyb wrote:Jumpers...good to.catch up with you yesterday...can i suggest that the pace of the march is managed from the front to keep the pace slow from the start to the finish and keep it tight...it paced out pretty far and fast at the front last night...and left straglers at the end..Jumpers For Goalposts wrote:And we could do beach balls again inside the ground at Ten to Six!
They would make a fantastic spectacle on TV and if there are enough the cameras will have to show it. Wenger would be squirming
Also OB are always looking for a point of contact / organiser...to control the group..its better like yesterday to keep the line that we are a group gathering without a single point of contact..that way they cannot try and dictate and will keep a distant stance unless it kicks off...

Yeah! Have a Definite START Point & Time
A Clear Pre-Planned and Agreed Route
And a Definite Ending Place

Take both your points completely!! We were too quick at the front, probably because we were so up for it.
Agree as well re police but I figured it was best to keep in their good books as the PC taking to me was a good lad and if we piss them off there's only going to be one winner.
To be fair to them they actually made things easier for us as they were telling the stewards to get out of our way.
Can't wait til Saturday

On the subject of the old bill, as you may be aware they'll tolerate it to a point but if it gets too big and cumbersome they'll have to step in to maintain 'public order/safety' so you must keep it tight and together so they can monitor it without needing to interfere too much.
If the marches get really big they may have to stop them because they have a duty to follow the law, rules are pretty clear on the YouGov website if needed
On the other hand the rules on public gathering are slightly less restrictive so if the second march planned has a higher turnout i would suggest future protests are planned as a 'gathering' in one place to keep you squeaky with plod

Re: Wenger Out protest, Tuesday 7th March.
We need to be fully prepared for what remains of the Wenger-friendly media to play the ingratitude card on Saturday.
They will be only too eager to contrast the thousands of excited Lincoln fans, for whom just to experience one day at The Emirates is all they could want, with the few hundred spoiled brats who are throwing their toys out of the pram when their team is still near the top of the Premier League as they always are.
I am playing devil's advocate here: we know this is about a massive club who charge the top ticket prices in Europe stagnanting due to an unholy alliance between a majority shareholder only concerned with profit and a manager allowed to make whatever mistakes he likes for as long as he chooses so long as he brings money in. But be prepared for that message to fall on deaf ears for one weekend at least. It will be easier to get back on the front foot for the remaining home matches , so hang in there.

Just keep them in the picture, at the end of the day it is manpower and ensuring public safety not just for marchers but onlookers etc, and moving the stewards on should they get in the way as someone quoted earlier lmao!

Safe and Sound is the order of the day...
BTW very well behaved too I must say!

If the old *word censored* even thinks that he might still stay, these protest marches need to be stepped up and the message hammered home. No new contract. Wenger out. Killing our club.
