No harm seeing if it is a viable option and as Herd mentioned above, the more variation in tactics the more pressure we'll put on him and the club.

I am Liking this and all the other ways that are being brought to the Protest...As someone has rightly said there are enough of us Gooners with very wide ranging skills that can be of great use to get rid of Clueless. Can you imagine the sweet irony of us using all of these various 'Tactics' to manoeuvre someone who is tactic-less, to outwit and out do him and the club and their hostile PR machine.

Should we just start with one thing at a time instead of shotgun blasting ideas and doing nothing. Do we want a billboard...I think it's a fantastic idea??? Can we find out what it costs and if nobody else can I will set up a paypal "Wenger Out" fund and we can contribute and get it up. If we want specific artwork, I know a graphic designer who will do it for free. Is this a go or not??

For me, I think the billboard idea is much better than a plane. Presumaby someone from BlackScarf could help with the logistics as they have done it before.

Ben's idea of a Wenger Out billboard is brilliant. We should definitely go for it. I'll contribute to the cost.

Agreed as it is huge and in their faces all the time...also shows how serious we are. I am going to set up the contribution page. Somebody find out how much it costs.

I'm in on this as well. I think that you will find more than enough to probably get two different banners :-)

Me too - I feel so far away and feel that I am letting the side down by not being there for the protests, so I am more than willing to cough up 10% :barscarf:
I'll chip in 10%
Cheers mate

I will make some enquiries and get back to the forum

I made some calls..waiting on an email with prices..problem is the London area, there is about a month waiting time and that is from when we have the funding in place. In a months time he might have signed already and then it will just be a waste of money :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Sorry mattyb, but I also think that the billboard is a better idea and is the one we should go with for now - maybe a ridiculous thought, but could we have an official unveiling of said billboard on a match day ? My thinking on this is that (a) it would be a good starting point for the protesters to gather (b) it might also provide a media publicity opportunity if they were tipped off about it (c) it should reduce the opportunity for some akb w**ker to vandalise it ahead of it's first matchday appearance

As I said, there are just a few thoughts running through this empty head of mine

Have to again say fair play to you guys that are doing so much work getting all these protests organized - I am over here miles and miles away from you all, and I still getting headaches as the pressure of wenker's situation is all consuming right now

You should try putting up a banner in the stadium, that's pressure!! :D
It is ok outside as there is safety in numbers, but you never quite know if your going to get attacked inside the stadium..

This is it...these are the first costs I've had... We don't need a backlit one., actually it would probably be better but outrageously expensive... If 160 blokes each gave a tenner..job done. I think the money could be raised in a couple of days.

Hi Chris,

Many thanks for your call.

Lovely speaking to you.......

For 2 weeks, a paper 48 sheet billboard is £1399 plus VAT.
A backlit one is £2150 plus VAT.

I’d get you the best location at the time of booking, but I’d need you to book it as soon as you have the funds, as availability is a massive issue in London at the moment.

Even better would be to book and pay, then we have a couple of weeks to shop around for a decent site.

Anything inside the stadium becomes sparse and difficult to coordinate. It would trigger Le failures apologists into action. Let's keep things outside that soulless boul. It's effective and difficult for the club to gloss over.

Tuesday's protest has garnered more media reaction than I think any of us expected and as the protests ramp up, it's likely that the organisers will find themselves approached more and more by the tv and radio media for interviews. As we know, there will plenty journos and pundits who will be damning us, but all they've really got is the inane and irrational "be careful what yo wish for" and "he's earned the right to decide when he leaves", together with the 20 year top 4 / CL qualification, which was a depiction of success created by Wenger and swallowed by too many idiots.

We need to be prepared to counter this bullshit by preparing a list of of all his failings, that our guys can have to hand and reel off when appropriate. There seems to be posters on here who are very good at accessing stats etc and compiling a list should be straight-forward. For example, the 7 year CL last 16 exits, the aggregate score from those games (wasn't there a recent stat that over the last 6 years, our first leg score in those ties was a 19-3 loss !),our record in recent years against the top 6 PL teams, which is really damning, the list of high scoring defeats, the repetitive nature of those defeats with no lessons learned, the decline in player quality from Bergkamp, Vieira and Henry, to Giroud, Ramsey and Xhaka (thanks Arsene), the quotes from Edelman about competing with Europe's elite, from Gazidis about the fans deciding Wenger's fate and telling us two or three years ago that we could compete with anyone financially, from Wenger about if he hadn't won the league by the end of his contract, he would have failed....there's plenty just there, without giving it much thought.

Anyway, we aren't experienced at dealing with the media and if people dry up, or struggle in an interview situation, it damages us. Being prepared with a list to hand containing that sort of information will blow holes in whatever weak crap they come up with. Keep repeating the same damning stats so that they are embedded in everyone's psyche. Be careful what you wish for......yeah sure, we're just wishing for someone that might make a marginal improvement on that list of disasters.

Blimey, rambled on a bit there :D

I do think that when question about the lack of leadership on the pitch, the meeja guys should be told that wenker only sign's nice players who wont question or challenge him, and nice guys don't make good leaders

I also think the kings ransom he is paid should be constantly mentioned when this "he's earned the right to decide" bullshit gets trotted out - his loyalty has been very well rewarded over the years, so we owe him nothing

I find it extremely disrespectful when he dismisses our history before he came along - I could go back further but even in the 9 years before he came along we had won 2 league titles, 1 fa cup, 2 league cups and 1 uefa cup winners cup, so ignoring that by suggesting we were nothing before he came along is a disgrace imo

I would also ask at what point the interests of the club should be put ahead the interests of the manager - I have zero doubt that if a manager was appointed 5 years ago, continually qualifying for the champions league would not be enough to keep his job, so why is it acceptable to use the continued qualification to be used for wenger, especially when we haven't progressed any further in the last 7 years ?

These are all points I would use with journalists if they asked me why are we protesting 8)

A mobile billboard is also an option, if it's tricky to get a normal one in time.
