#WengerOut Fundraising Campaign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Donated :barscarf:

Very easy and it takes about a minute or two. All you need is a bank card and an email address. No lengthy registration process. It's perfectly safe. I've done this several times.

Matt I sent you a text.

Donation made! I just wanted to add that this is brilliant job that you guys are doing, respect! :barscarf: :barscarf:

Btw, we should attack social media as strongly as we can with this campaign, right? We should share this especially in Twitter and add for example different media or well know youtubers hashtags etc. to get maximum visibility to this. So, just to be sure... is it ok to share the donation page all over the place? How about this forum, are there plans or is ok to promote this place in social media? After all this is the place where the revolution started. 8)

In a little over 12 hours we have already collected almost 25% of the target set out in the beginning, so that is a very well done to the guys who organized this, and also well done to all who have donated to date 8)

In my opinion the plane idea and the mobile billboard idea are far and away the best suggestions to date, but there has been a lot of good suggestions and where possible we should pursue every single good idea thrown up here - has anybody looked into the idea of getting beach balls or balloons made up with wenger out on them, or is it even possible to do this ? Would this action create trouble for fans that could lead to stadium bans ? Everything needs to be explored

It's in motion. It's already on Twitter. This is the only reason I'm on there.

We will...lets get the plane money...that is already booked and paid for, then come Monday we can look into other ideas. I like the balloon idea but the problem is they go up and not down so unless we are firing them off from the middle of the pitch how is that going to generate publicity?? Not against the idea...we just need to be creative. Maybe just outside the stadium and alert the press...I will look into it on Monday...what the balloons will cost.

Same as you in that I like the idea but not sure if it would be a success - the beach balls would work a lot better imo, but I would be worried that it would provoke action against individual fans, and get a negative reaction if it disrupted the game

The beach ball thing might cross the boundaries on what's legal and what's not.

I would draw a very clear distinction between initiatives which leave individuals exposed to action (which we must avoid) and those which might momentarily disrupt/affect the game (which, so long as they are imaginative and not violent, would be the most powerful publicity we could get). Remember the Sunderland beach ball?!

While we must stay within the bounds of legality, we have to make seriously strong waves to get maximum publicity and send alarm bells ringing among the sponsors and over at Wiggy HQ.

Thinking caps on.....

Donation made.

I understand that not everyone can actually be there for the protests so this is another great way for everyone to feel part of the campaign to get Wenger out of our club.

Thanks very much for organising this. Great stuff :barscarf:

Absolutely, the earliest I can get down Will be the City match, but I can contribute to the fund and feel part of it.
