Yeah. Was very promising at Millwall; average at Liverpool and 'not very good' for us. Pity though. From what I remember, his family are all big gooners, as was Carter, and he really wanted to be good for us. Just didn't work out, I guess.

steady eddie was Â£1m i remember at time that it was a coup 4 arsenal cos lots of teams in 4 him,, was it liege away in euro cup that he was brilliant, dont remember him been great after that thou,, not so happy days

Bit of perspective - I was in Liege and he came on as sub, scored a brillant goal against a team so bad that there fans were cheering us as we went forward. Other than his 15 minutes of fame here he did nothing and was so overated it's not even funny. And your list of players above is giving me a pain in my side

sorry galasso,just remember that liege game and eddies great goal,, know he was bad,, went 2 quiet a few games in 80s 90s so get bad flashbacks at times,, arsene knows thankfully
