From this mornings interview. We are getting coverage and we will continue to. This bloke is a Gooner as well

Publicity is great, but I do worry that giving them a heads up on the plane protest and billboard protest, will give the authorities (via a request from the club) a chance to stop either/both.

I don't want to seem disrespectful cos I really appreciate the great work ye are all doing with these protests, but can I suggest that ye leave out statements calling for an apology from wenger unless you quantify it by saying that wenger wanted an apology from the ref for the Bayern 2nd game, and clearly doesn't feel any responsibility to the fans for the away game  Looking for a general apology might seem childish imo

He knew about the plane already (who doesn't). And my words were that Wenger NEVER apologises at the post matches after we have been reamed. I specifically mentioned that no apology was forthcoming after the Bayern game. It's always just about him, him, him.

If Chelsea beat United, as they are favourites to do, there is a 2/3 chance we will draw them or Tottenham at Wembley.

On the one hand, I do share the reservations I've read already about organising anything on such an occasion. The sheer numbers there, the combustiable mix of rival supporters, and the likelihood that we might be criticised by many sympathisers for not just shutting up shop and 'closing ranks' mean that it wouldn't be sensible to try to organise a march from Wembley Park to the Stadium. It's a non-starter.

But to do nothing? Really? What sort of message would that send? That we only bother to put our case when we get bored, when the match doesn't matter much, and that we are so grateful that our wonderful manager has steered us to another Wembley semi-final that we are prepared to forget all about our cause for the day? Those are headlines just waiting to be written by AKBs and the media. It would devalue the message we're trying to convey that we are out there come what may from now until the end of the season to focus on the bigger picture.

So I think we should organise something for Wembley, irrespective of our opponents. Leafleting at the turnstiles, balloons inside the ground, whatever. To do nothing would be the biggest own goal we could score.
I dont agree. Especially if we play the scum we shouldn't protest. Would show to be the bigger men that hatred of the scum comes before EVERYTHING else
In our own world you may be right....but in winning the PR war you couldn't be more wrong. Do you honestly think we will be more respected for putting hatred of Tottenham above what we claim is in the long-term insterests of the club? We would be slaughtered for being narrow-minded and shallow. And we would deserve to be IMO.
I think we would be praised for putting it behind us for one day. It would be a huge own goal to protest when we play sp*rs as it would give the AKB's a chance to say we are not true Arsenal fans.

Its so easy to say stuff them we'll do what we want but with Wenger and the AKB's you have to be clever about it. No abuse and picking specific moments IMO

No doubt our inevitable, limp dick, on pitch surrender in the semi final will do much more for our cause than any pre match march could ever hope to achieve so no need to fret over whether we should or shouldn't protest then in my book. Leave the vaginas take care of it.

My biggest concern is him signing in the 15 days of nothing between West Brom and City rendering the whole argument moot :banghead:

Are there 30 guys on here who have tickets for the Man City game who would be prepared to take in a 60cm beach ball, inflate it inside the ground, then release it at a designated time??

Not sure if it was you handing out the A4 posters but I was handed one before the march started, and everytime I saw a TV camera (there were at least 3) I held it in front of me and walked right up to the lens, so hopefully they'll show up on some footage. Every little helps.

Another chant

Wenger OUT OUT OUT Wenger OUT OUT OUT

Hi Tollgoon, yes, it was me handing them out. I guess you're right, if that get a fairly good close up shot and gets shown in the msm or social media, then that's good. The 10-2 Time fr Change idea showing the Clock End clock would look great on a banner. Was that the original idea? Is it happening?

if he does sign then it just means the protests get ramped up even more.
it will then be open warfare - anything goes 8)

BEACH BALLS

For us to make it we can go upto either 35 or 40cm.

We make the ball from 2 colours ie your red and white
Then we digitally print – clever stickers that once on stay J
We find this is a better way of getting high quality logos.

1-100 units: The cost is £9.99 per ball
Examples of the process attached.

Didn't somebody say Wenger and his molly coddled babies stay at the Hilton before home matches? Maybe we should rock up there for a protest where he can't ignore it?

I really think he deliberately opted for the 'secret underground entrance' at the Emirates where, as opposed to stepping off the coach en route to the Marble Halls, he no longer has to see, hear or interact with the great unwashed who pay his wages.

Guy is a total piece of shit and we're going to make his life miserable if he goes against fans' wishes and chooses to stay.

When you say release them, what do you mean?
Chuck them on the pitch or around the crowd?

If you're chucking them on the pitch isn't there a risk that you would get ejected and prosecuted.

OK - I take your points and though I disagree that it is consistent or logical I will just hope we don't draw them in the semi. If we do, I am just going to ignore the occasion, I won't celebrate whatever the result. Like any true Gooner I could never wish us to lose to Tottenham, but be under no illusion that the consequence of fluking a win is that we would be one lucky result away from being back to May 2014, and then we might as well accept the inevitable.

As I said yesterday , re:the semi protest, if we get a draw that causes ' issues' one way round is a carefully worded statement to the media why we are shelving a protest for this game only. This will give us good PR

The other idea of just leafleting and banners inside could work well as it would provide a potential tipping point for large group if things go pear shaped

Ok ...so to sum up......

The balloons are a non starter because they are outside the ground.

We cannot release beach balls in the ground for fear of prosecution

The mobile billboards will not be able to get close to the ground because the streets will be closed...so what's the point?

We cannot get another plane as it's a no fly zone.

So lets keep the rest of the money, then when he signs we can have a giant piss up.
