Billboards are a great idea, but they seem to be too expensive and the waiting times too long for our purposes. We need things we can get done within days or less. A mobile billboard is good too, but between the plane and that, our fund is wiped out.

At some point in the future, there could be a 'gathering' in a certain road in Totteridge

Im sure that basic masks would do as good a job, that way we could get a good number to hand out leaflets. One to hand out to 60,000 doesnt quite go. I like that idea :barscarf:

They cost around £3 each, could they be got before WBA :barscarf:

Cheers Clash....The ugly women were just that - non-people as far as I'm concerned - Not because they were repulsive - It was their 'energy' and attitude' that was ugly - Obviously oblivious to the facts, I really didn't let it or them bother me, I was more concerned that some Gooners in the protest might react and as I said undo a whole load of very good work. I just focused on the job in hand it felt really good to be able to vent just a little of the anger and frustration that I have been feeliing about Wenger and the way the club has tried to totally dis-empower the fans. By doing this - we have proven they have failed.

Which is why I urge All and Any Gooners to get along to the protests even if you have to travel a long way and can only do One Protest it is worth it and will help the cause - beside believe me you'll feel Great!

btw: I did meet a number of Gooners off here but cannot remember their (online names) so apologies if I have miss ed anyone - I had a text earlier to say I had wrongly credited Jumpers *& his Lad for doing the A4 Tick Tock 10 to Two sheets, again I apologise - Jumpers & his lad were distributing them so I thought he had done them.

Excellent interview by Mark as well btw! :high5: :D

For what it's worth I really don't think we should demonstrate if we play the Filth in the semi's or final???? - nor of course at the toilet - those for me is the only No Go Zone/Occasion. Other than that Let's Make the Clueless Fraud Squirm.

For the potential Advan campaign at the Emirates Stadium in London on 2 April, I would like to offer the following:

Mobile 48 sheet Advan

1 x Backlit Advan
Emirates Stadium London (routes to be confirmed)
Premium one day promotion
Sunday 2 April
Offer rate: £450 + production

Campaign offer total: £450 + £499 production (2 x sides, 1 x rear)
Total including production: £949 + VAT

Included in Advan Campaigns

• Over 500 sq. ft. of display
• Two 20ft x 10ft side panels + 1 rear
• GPS Tracking & Report
• Fully Illuminated Ad vans
• Full 8 hour days
• Optional start/finish times
• Evening Campaigns
• Uniformed Drivers
• Drivers daily log
• Daily Photographs
• Re-usable Vinyl's

As I mentioned, we shouldn’t have issues with getting close/on site at the stadium (especially if we were to arrive at 10am for the 8 hours), but even if we were denied access to the stadium grounds themselves, we could certainly manage to find a suitably visible site as an alternative if needed.

I hope this helps as a starting point for discussion, but please let me know if you have any further questions or need anything else.

Thanks
David

Thoughts??

I am absolutely on board with this idea - this was always my first choice for the protest, cos I feel it stands out and it sends a strong signal out that fans are so desperate to get rid of him that they will spend 1k on a stunt like this 8)

Re the wiping out the fund, I understand that sentiment but the reality is that the fund is in place for things like this, and it is my opinion that one big splash like this will be worth a lot more than several small ideas. Without wishing to sound presumptuous, the fund is still growing and there should be more cash coming in so that we can still do some of the smaller protest ideas

the important thing about the next 2 home fixtures are they are close together - April 2nd and 5th.

I am sure it would have been a bit of a novelty for people in the Diamond Club on Saturday but if we can do two similar protests outside where they are eating, within a few days then they are going to get seriously pissed off...and that can only be good news :barscarf:

I think those 2 fixtures are crucial to the success of the Wenger Out Campaign and it might make the club sit up a bit more than it currently is.

Good point, and with them being the first 2 league games we have protested at we should have our biggest numbers to date.

Huge YAY from me on the mobile billboard. What shall we put on it? A simple 'Wenger OUT' or a more detailed message?

And when the footage If loads of people directly taking the piss gets out, think of it chops him off at the knees with the players

Real winner for the city march this looks like up front with trophy lot of us with masks /leaflets others with banners etc

The humour value alone would go round the world

Hiring that Wenger impersonator to walk around with a fourth placed trophy is pure gold. Has my vote!

Think I agree with Augie here, better to make a big splash than see the fund dissipate in smaller, but ineffective actions. For example, the beach balls inside the ground has some merit, but balloons outside is a waste of whatever it costs in my opinion.

Regarding the ad van, does it need to be back-lit, which I'm assuming adds cost? Also, rather than worrying about where to park it, can't it just go back and forth up Holloway Road, from Highbury Corner to, say Tollington Road ? The traffic is usually so bad along there, that it will be static half the time anyway. Just a thought.
