Wenger Out protest thread

Never been more happy to play Man City in a cup competition in my life. It means we avoid the pitfalls of playing the SCUM and Chelski, protesting those games would have been much much more difficult, and particularly for Spurs - impossible.

Like you said, with City, we keep the momentum and can protest before the game. :barscarf: :barscarf:

I truly think we need to do as much as we can before it is too late - I think, overall, by the semi final it will be too late.
I like the idea too but if we succeed we'll be doing the look-alike guy out of future bookings so maybe don't give him too much info.
Lol, yeah, never thought of that - he could always do work for French Tv.

Too late I've already told the agent, mind you a mystery booking in n5/n7 on a match day might be a giveaway anyway

My own view is that a lookalike is a bit of a worthless gimmick that doesn't really add anything in terms of extending the reach of the protest.

"I'll win the league in the next 2 years"
---wenger 2014 ( or whenever the fuck he said it)

It is the most important moment in the life of this club and we have to be strong now and support this team.
We are going in the right track and everyone at the club is convinced we are doing the right thing.
If we do not get there next year or the year after then you can say this was not the right way.

2nd Dec 2014

Asked if he could win what would be his first Premier League title since 2003-04 during the three years of his contract, Wenger said:

"Of course. We have not started very well, but we never had the squad together since the start of the season. It was a post World Cup start typically. I think we have what is requested to do it. We have to fight like mad now to come back as much as possible to show that we can compete in every single game."

It was a leading question though.

One of the many things that piss me off is the failure of the media to pick him up on his bullshit.
I think using his own quotes against him would be poetic justice, and it can't be called disrespectful if it came from his own mouth.

Unfortunately they don't do billboards big enough to fit all the crap he's spouted through the years on.

Can't we replace Wenger himself with the lookalike? Can't be much worse! :D

Jumpers For Goalposts wrote:Our protests have made huge publicity, the likes of which haven't been seen at Arsenal ever before.

Given that - there is one huge question that nobody has asked yet :-

WHY HASN'T ALISHER USMANOV SAID ANYTHING IN PUBLIC??
Now this may be an absurd idea but there any way to contact usmanov or his team to ask for a statement which could potentially could cause disunity in the board and Wenger leaving
Found a contact form for one of his company

Absolutely. Disgraceful that he can get away unchallenged with repeetedly heralding our performance against Bayern as "brave" and "outstanding". We shipped in five goals at home and lost by the second largest margin in the competitions history for fucks sake.

We need to decide what is going on the sides of the mobile billboard. I think IN WENGER WE RUST on the back....maybe all his BS quotes on one side with the heading "A DECADE OF LIES" and something for the other side.

We need input and we need agreement..we cannot just keep going around in circles. The plane is done..lets make the Billboard happen...then we can go from there.

Is everybody happy with all the BS quotes on one side and IN WENGER WE RUST on the back????

If we are happy with his BS quotes I will need a list of them. We might have to start a completely new thread to handle that......

Well, he did say that he watched the game 3 times, so maybe he thought that the 180 minute tie that he watched was the 60 minutes where we played well. :D

This is the reason that we could use a lookalike - for media/ArsenalFanTV. We could write up a script of Wenger crap that he came up with over the years. There are many examples on the forum eg - 'How dare anyone criticize my trophy haul? I mean recently we've won the Calendar Year Trophy, the Balance Sheet Trophy, etc'. If the actor was good, we would just be supplementing the material that he already has with some good humour.
