Wenger Out protest thread

We need to decide what is going on the sides of the mobile billboard. I think IN WENGER WE RUST on the back....maybe all his BS quotes on one side with the heading "A DECADE OF LIES" and something for the other side.

We need input and we need agreement..we cannot just keep going around in circles. The plane is done..lets make the Billboard happen...then we can go from there.

Is everybody happy with all the BS quotes on one side and IN WENGER WE RUST on the back????

If we are happy with his BS quotes I will need a list of them. We might have to start a completely new thread to handle that......

How about 'A decade of lies and spin' - 'In the last nine years only once have we been the worst performing English club in the Champions League.'

I think that quotes above about not winning the league or challenging are a good shout as well...

Just thought of a way we could do balloons Semi at Wembley Think about it Now we have the least problematic game , Wembley events are big days out and fans often let off balloons , when teams come out , so - msg permitting - we could probably get them in ok . If we do this might be an idea to organise it by PM so the club can't tip Wembley stewards off

Do the beach balls at Wembley...be perfect as all the lads will be in one place. Get 20 done..that's £200...... 20 in one hit will draw attention.

My own view is that a lookalike is a bit of a worthless gimmick that doesn't really add anything in terms of extending the reach of the protest.

Northbank, I can see why you and others have doubts about this, but I do think it could be very effective. As I've said before, the humourous edge might bring others on board and carrying the "4th Place Trophy" is making a very serious point.

As we all know, Wenger has all the characteristics of an egotistical dictator and while the obviously important calls for "no new contract" and "Wenger out" are the core themes, that won't necessarily rattle him too much. In his pig-headed, deluded manner, his approach will simply be "a few of you think I should go, but I think I should stay", all justified with his arcane reasoning.

For me, satire is a great way to actually rattle this despot and his huge ego. We need to get at him personally. To parody him, to belittle what he sees as his fabulous top 4 achievements would seriously piss him off. Remember, no matter how many of us protest, or what creative steps we take, this board ain't gonna sack him. The only chance we have is to make him walk. Ridiculing him for all his bullshit and depicting him as the emperor in his new clothes might well hellp. Fucking hell, I dunno, who knows?

I know for some it's a final shot, but if he does cling on others will carry on the fight .
