I'd agree with that if we say up to 2005.

By 2007 the good football wasn't up to the same standard. I remember 31 December 2006 .... Arsenal lost 1-0 away to Sheffield Utd. Phil Jagielka was in goal for the last half an hour and we couldn't even manage a shot.

Wenger broke up the Invincibles far too quickly. He gets praised for the job he did keeping us in the top 4 after moving stadiums but he actually made it a harder job than it needed to be. The last thing we needed going into a new home was a new team.

Terrible management dressed up as heroic. It is like someone being hailed a hero for going into a river to save a child when it was them that pushed the child into the river in the first place
