Wenger Out protest thread
Re: Wenger Out protest - Sunday 2nd April 14:30 Man City (H)
Flying a banner with respect on it, seriously is that all they have left?
You just need to look on the pitch to see how laughable that stance is now. The home fans were taking the piss singing TO1AW.
In our end, there were a lot of banners up by 85 minutes with anti-Wenger chants being loudly sung. The banners were still up a good 10 minutes after the game had finished.

Results speak for themselves, we can't play non-league teams to save his skin every week can we ?

My thoughts exactly, money well spent. Even if the plane hadn't gone up I know the money would have gone to good use, but the plane idea was bang for buck the best thing that could have happened, loads of press / online generated. The fact that it coincided with another abysmal performance is the icing on the cake. I really think TOF is on the ropes reeling, certainly looks like he's lost the team. All on his shoulders though, he thought he knew better, but the lack of investment I quality players is coming home to roost now. No sympathy no contract, Wenger out.

Excellent effort from you all today by the way, from the fly over organisers to the banners lads in the crowd

Re: Wenger Out protest - Sunday 2nd April 14:30 Man City (H)
Still no one has claimed responsibility for the pro-Wenger plane; whoever you were, congratulations, a work of pure genius.
Initially made us all look like idiots with the opposing messages in the sky, but after we lost, having that second plane appear probably did more for the Wenger Out cause than any of us could have hoped.
Looking at our fixtures, I can see us finishing with 10 or more league defeats this season; if he signs on again it'll be carnage.

Yes great work by you all yet again. Hope to join the Man City protest. However, it all depends on whether his "decision" comes during the international break. As I've said before, if he stays then I'm afraid I'm done.

Would equal the number of league defeats we suffered in 2011/12 (and he should have been sacked during that season too).WLG wrote:Looking at our fixtures, I can see us finishing with 10 or more league defeats this season; if he signs on again it'll be carnage.

Might have been mentioned already but the radio commentary said they understood "one of the planes" was the work of a betting company. Guessing they didn't mean the anti-Wenger one.

Absolutely superb from those of you who got that plane up (and on TV). Complete legends. The counter-plane looked pathetic and childish, and as posted above was made a mockery of by our non-performance.
Banners were also on full show and got loads of coverage - obviously fitted in with medias agenda. Last year they belittled thousands of fans holding up Time for Change cards as a failure yet today they were desperate to focus in on individual banners.
Couldn't have done any more. First time I've been really proud to be a Gooner in a long time.

Whoever did it should keep there nose out of things that don't concern them. They might have flown a pro Wenger banner but there were none of them on the ground.Trevor Ross wrote:Might have been mentioned already but the radio commentary said they understood "one of the planes" was the work of a betting company. Great job all round lads. Top work and thanks for your efforts. The other plane is irrelevant and looked rather foolish considering the shambolic performance.
I don't know how Le Fraud can announce anything other than say he's stepping down at the end of the season. The narcissist must be enjoying all the suspense.

The wenger in plane was (allegedly)
paid for by a company with connections to businesses in Asia who own betting franchises AND Sportswear Manufacturing
Hmmmm Unfortunately that was the closest of any kind of (provable) connection or links with the club - might even have been an individual within their ranks just stirring the shyte - M'F'ker ceeeuunt.(aka: franchise
)
Been in work all day gladly I missed the actual commentary on the game but managed to listen to 5 Live after and there seemed to be a definite sway towards the commentators & pundits in their attitude & comments to wenger's time being up - which is a marked difference to how it has been...so pulis cun.t though he is may have done us a solid by helping to turn up the heat on Clueless....mind you he's like a feckin' limpet on a rock
Looking forward to the man city game protest! #WENGEROUT! Orrr as Jumper's might put it
