Yeah, the best protest of all is not hiring planes or going on the march, it is turning your back on them and not giving them a penny.Allgunsblazin wrote:So glad I do not have a season ticket "what a waste of money"...
I don't buy all this tourists will fill the Emirates nonsense, they might put a few thousand fans at the game but not anywhere near enough to fill in for horde's of missing supporters.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I'm broken......mentally, physically and emotionally broken. I just can't take it anymore. I actually feel like crying, I genuinely do. I can't do this anymore, I literally cannot take one more second of this. I can't do one more game let alone one more season. My resolve has gone, something inside me has snapped after 8 years of being chipped away bit by bit by bit by bit by bit.
I read articles that say we are a laughing stock to want him gone, that we're a disgrace. Journalists and ex pros sneer at us for wanting an end to this. We have supporters who despite having witnessed some of the most humiliating results in the club's history still think he's the best man for the job.
I'm sick of getting into arguments with people about him, sick that this club does not hold itself to a higher standard, sick and tired of the alternate universe we seem to inhabit where it's A-OK for us to constantly fail, where it's perfectly fine for us to never compete, where we lose by 3,4,5,6,8 goals and nobody bats an eye lid.
We're spoilt brats for wanting anything other than the status quo, we should be careful what we wish for, he's earned the right to decide when to leave.
Well do you know what, after 30 odd years supporting the club so have I and the ink won't be dry on the contract when you'll hear me tapping out.

harsh but true.
if every ST holder had not renewed in 2014 with the last contract extension due then these last 3 years would not have happened.

Seriously, the majority of the Emirates do not give a f**k what is going on. It is just a day out.sk-gtfo wrote:Yeah, the best protest of all is not hiring planes or going on the march, it is turning your back on them and not giving them a penny.Allgunsblazin wrote:So glad I do not have a season ticket "what a waste of money"...

Same for me mate, done nearly 30 years ClockEnd and North Bank, if he renews I am not going back.rodders999 wrote:I'm broken......mentally, physically and emotionally broken. All that achieves is that the hardcore fans stop going and it dilutes our fan base even more with people who SIT in silence and are less likely to complain.Allgunsblazin wrote:Fans are held to ransom and the Board know it!NickF wrote:Seriously, the majority of the Emirates do not give a f**k what is going on. He nailed every point, did Smudger. Asked why is he waiting with announcing whether he will sign or not? Not helping anyone.JimmyAFC wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIcuQT5u2UM
Smithy wants him gone. Seems as depressed as we all are about the greedy fucking old bastard.
Word for word quote. The Board might as well not be there.
Kroenke is happy with the status quo. Arsene is all-powerful.
Then he was asked whether that was the problem.
Answer = Yes!
Then another big point. He said no-one is accountable; not the players and not Arsene. So true.
Then again talking about how Arsenal DON'T train set pieces. How fucking idiotic is that?
I've heard it so many times, I've watched them in training, and it certainly was true when I was watching, and must surely still be so.
This is just not acceptable.
How can you not practise set-pieces?
Then Smudger said there weren't any Leaders, and that's been the case for a few years now.
How can anyone seriously not see that Wenger is a fraud?
He got lucky. Very fucking lucky. But he is 100% a fraud.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Its all looking rather farcical .
Whilst I I simply do not see what the benefit of signing another 1 year contract (or 2) does for the short or long term future of Arsenal Football club,
Gazidis’s plans,of talking to every manager in Europe and suggesting they will get a Technical director etc appears to have floundered on the rocks !
Reports of Wengers Demise appear to be premature !
Despite the urgent need for root and branch surgery to the squad, and the way they play their football TOF isn’t moving .
Extending by 1 year will mean nothing much will be done on transfer ins and outs and we will continue to play the same shit football that no longer works against anyone but non league clubs !
Meantime AW Will have to make do on £10 m a year .
Dentist chair shots down in Wanchai for the lads !

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Rodders mate I feel your pain. There was a time I lived and breathed this football club, a time when I was happy for days after a great result (or weeks and months after a trophy win) and depressed for days after a loss (particularly the NLD). I've (conservatively, no exageration) spent a second house and a car following them over the last 40 years, I proudly wear the old proper cannon on my arm for eternity, I've raised my kids to be Gooners. Now I feel despondent, I don't recognise a club that sues a woman selling hats in Spain, a club that rewards failure with £9million a year in wages, a club that works harder at being a business than a football club, a club that loathes it's own supporters, a club now overrun by JCL's that have no clue of our great history before their Demigod took over, a club that lies to us with every second breath, a club that pissed away it's traditions, it's wonderful badge, it's beautiful stadium and it's class and integrity to chase filthy lucre.rodders999 wrote:I'm broken......mentally, physically and emotionally broken. Not "if it's two year deal", mate, if it is anything other than that he goes in May, this May. There is no acceptable compromise.cameron326 wrote:Anyone turning up next season if it's a 2 year deal is supporting Arsene more than Arsenal. Forget the dull football and underachievement on the pitch, the way he has treated the fans and represents the club in press conferences is worth boycott alone.

Harsh. But fair.
