He WILL have a war chest of 100m! This is how I'm sure it will work.......

Arsenal finish outside of the top 4 and lose a minimum of 40m CL money

Arsenal sell Sanchez and Ozil for a combined fee of around 100m

Wonga also sells another couple of players for 20m or so

He buys three or four players for a sum total of around 60-70m

Transfer window closes, he thinks he has rebuilt the squad, the reality is, he has sold £120m worth, spent a max. Of 70m, got Kranky his missing CL money of 40m AND made a profit AND hasn't even touched the 'war chest' in the bank.

Krankys deleriously happy
Wonga gets big bonus, very happy
Arsenal are more fucked than ever. It's going to happen!!

2 wengers transfer policy / scouting has been terrible ever since football became more global.

3 wenger is myopic and and lacks self awareness. In the past week he has embarrassed himself and the club over the OSpina situation

The bottom line is we should be challenging last 4/8 in the champions league each year and challenging for the title with the level of financial capabilities the club has. I watched SOuthamptom yesterday and their desire, speed of play and technical level was superb - contrast that to our performance against Chelsea. This is down to massive mis management over the last decade in all areas of the club ex commercial.

Got that off my chest again after another couple of dross years passes us by. Wenger is a sociopath there is no doubting it. He can not stand criticism, i just can't understand why on any level he isn't sacked. I am beyond caring, the club is dead to me if he stays. I'm sad to say that, but I was there in 87 when Charlie scored twice and in 89 on the magical night, whilst I've plumbed the depths of hillier, helder et al. But this current Moment is both the worst and most emotional I've ever been about the club I love, it is being ruined by two men, Wenger and Stan and I don't think I can fall back in love again. I said to my wife, I only really desire one thing now in my life and that is for those two parasites to go.

As for him being a sociopath, he is definitely a walking, talking psychiatry thesis. I wonder if Channel 5 could do a 1 hour psychiatric study on him?

I'm probably going to annoy some people here but I am going to give Mr A Wenger some credit.

He's banked himself a shed load of cash impersonating himself as a football manager, just look at all the evidence it's all out there, former players openly admitting he left it down to them to sort it out in their autobiographies, the rest of it is basically office duties... I bet he's still fackin laughing as we all vent here lol... Fucking classic ... He even stabbed the guy in the back who gave him the job in the first place. Some mate eh mr dein lol....

In 200 years time it will form part of a pub quiz question. Which manager successfully earnt over 100 million pounds impersonating a s a football manager of Arsenal football club ... :|

Cue the excuses like "It's hard to attract players when you don't play in the champions League for the first time in 20 years."

"I will only buy the players who offer something different."

"He's the right man for the job. Who else would take over now that we're not in the Champions League?"

I'm so fucking sick of all this shit. So fucking sick of that *word censored* and his shit players. If that prick is still in charge next year, I'm fucking finished until he's gone.

Pretty much how I feel as well, I've committed to myself that if he stays I will avoid watching any Arsenal (any football probably) or indeed waste any time reading stuff about them online/tv etc. I will just find other stuff to do.

It's depressing enough that we're sh1te thanks to the Kranky and Wanger show but seeing Chelsea and Spurs at #1 & #2 is likely to be the final nail in the coffin for any desire I have to watch PL/CL football at least.

I was warning people about Kroenke and in 2007, we are seeing the result of a club owner who has zero ambition and limited interest other than making money.

Nothing good can come from Wenger staying another year.

Ozil and Sanchez will leave, that's for sure and who will come in? Will a top player want to join knowing the manager only has plans for 1 year and then who knows what when the net gaffer comes along? Without somebody like Sanchez getting the team out of trouble, things will get worse and worse.

I'd say arsenal could become like Liverpool but they won the champions league after arsenal won the domestic league...

Worse than Liverpool?

I'm still hoping this is still all a bad dream and he is gone. I'd imagine we will find out next Thursday at the City press conference. Let him announce his departure and then the club hopefully will release a statement on his successor.

Funny Utd didn't qualify for the CL - but managed to get Mourinho in.
They also tempted Ibrahimovic, Pogba, Mykatarian into signing for them.

Chelsea didn't qualify for the CL either....
They secured a new manager and got Kante to sign for them instead of us.

His excuses have run out, his time has run out, time for us to run him out !

Agreed with all apart from the red bit.

Let's say no CL, Sanchez and Ozil go, plus 2 others.

For sure he will buy big. He's got the cash from sales. Always the way. Plus there will be an investment of maybe £50m on top of that.
There will be two £50m players, and then there'll be 2 players for £50m.

Kroenke does give some money. Xhaka, Musafi and Perez came in last summer, and the only savings/sellings were on the wages to Rosicky, Arteta, Flamini, loans, etc.

Also, chances are that with no CL, and with 4 new first-team regulars, the performances pick up...short-term.
Certainly ST's will still be bought, as there are always new customers growing up and then getting jobs/money.
2 huge new signings...and they will be huge if Ozil and Sanchez go...and people will be getting excited again.

He will spend £150m if Sanchez, Ozil and 2 others go. For sure.
If he's still there, which I think he will be. Sadly.

Wenger suggested at the start of the season that results would determine his future. Now that results are going south, he's trying to suggest that it's not just results that will decide. So why didn't he just sign the new deal last summer, if he was going to stay come what may? It would have saved us from this protracted fiasco.
