As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Unless her name's Nat Sawyer , yes I'm new but a long time reader
Offside wrote:The other reason the Man Utd comparison is nonsense is that they appointed Moyes, who was woefully unqualified to take on that job. They could have had Mourinho or Ancelotti, who were both available. It went wrong at Man Utd because they appointed the wrong man. If Arsenal appoint the right man, we won't go into a downturn.
While you are, without question, correct Offside, there is a difference. Moyes was the wrong man, but even the "right" man would have had an incredibly tough act to follow. Even if we likewise appoint the wrong man, it would be a job to be much worse than the wrong man we've already got.
Redarmy wrote:“I’ve managed always to get the best out of the team and that’s what I’ll do as long as I’m at Arsenal.”
How the fuck can he get away with shit like this.....
What a total Wanker. He's right if getting the best out of Sanchez and Ozil or Van Persie and Fabregas and Podolski and Arshavin and Nasri is finishing 4th and winning fuck all. I mean the man's a genius.
Somebody fucking end this *word censored*'s embarrassing nonsense. Fuck off.

Now, am I right or wrong ?
I reckon Moyes could actually do a better job than Wanker.

I reckon Harry Redknapp could do a better job, the twitchy *word censored*.
OK, the pre-match team-talk would be " just run around a bit", but at least there would be a bit of passion, and it's not as if Wenger EVER did any more than that anyway.
Mentioning the so called 100 million war chest that could be made available if the fraud stays. Its Shite!! Lets be honest. Pogba who is crap cost something like 85 million. He would buy similar shite to what we have, we all know that, so it's a load of bollocks really. Him going is the only way. Another manager given 100 million (yeah right!!) would probably use the money well. The senile old duffer wont!!

We had a £100m "war chest" last summer too... we bought Xhaka, Perez and Mustafi. They've been such succesful buys that we've actually regressed

You are right Grasshopper.....time for you to leave.
‘My job is to make 100 per cent of people happy,’ said Wenger. ‘If you look at where the club was when I arrived and where it is today, I’m quite proud of what I did.
‘We live in a period where people are very demanding. I have guided this club through very difficult periods with very, very, very limited resources and I managed always to get the best out of the team.
People actually buy into and believe this utter crap. But far more alarming is that Wenger believes it. I used to often say he's not deluded, he's just arrogant & self serving but I was wrong, he is both those things and he is also totally, utterly and completely deluded as well.He not only lives a lie, he believes it, and has managed to sell it to thousands of people.
