c***s AKA the scum
Re: c***s AKA the scum
Much as I hate to admit it - and as most of you know, I predicted for months last season that these c.unts would finish below us once more - this will be the year when it finally happens
The one key difference for me as opposed to all the other years is simple - there is division amongst the ranks for the first time on a major scale, and it affects several players. Alexis is the best player in the team by a mile and its clear he doesn't want to play for him. Oz-ill is exactly that and the mystery intensifies. Then there's the likes of the Ox, who are so clearly pissed off with him that they don't give a shit - I'd be starting to put Bellerin in that category too judging by recent weeks.
In previous seasons I've always felt we'd make top four - we all knew that the usual tactical naivety and defensive brainfarts would ever prevent us from winning the league but at this stage of the season we'd normally get the 'flat track bully' bounce and on yesterday's evidence that won't be happening any time soon.
With ManUre relegating us to 6th today, this is now starting to feel like the end of the GG era. If TO1AW continues I'd back us to finish as low as 8th or 9th next year which hasn't been done since GG's latter days.
So, no St Totteringham's Day for us this year......and if goon chops continues, then not next year either. Don't get me wrong - Podgietino won't be winning the league with his limited squad and inevitable burn out, but they'll still finish above us

Yep it will happen but who gives a fuck really. It's gonna happen one day. Just as long as they don't get anywhere near winning the thing then that's all that matters really
Re: c***s AKA the scum
I can assure you that under their current 'runner up' manager they won't be doing that any time soon mate. A couple of years in the new swamp and he'll soon be being held up for the 'also ran' that he isEboue-Why? wrote:Yep it will happen but who gives a fuck really. It's gonna happen one day. law of averages said it has to happen some time, fuck it dont care but at least it might wake our board up to the football side of things.

Its another one of Wenger's decreasing claims to success, that he had never finished below them or finished out of the top 4.REB wrote:law of averages said it has to happen some time, fuck it dont care but at least it might wake our board up to the football side of things.

Re: c***s AKA the scum
Maybe, but we're already in free-fall so they'd have to absolutely, spectacularly implode (coupled with a miraculous upturn in our form) not to finish above us.GoonerMuzz wrote:Been putting this off and loath as i am to admit it, i think we're not going to finish above them this season.... then again they may have a monumental collapse again
For once, I don't think the denial will persist!
Db's gonna ban my arse for that...

At the moment, everything says they should finish above us. But then it did too last season. I say never dismiss the vermin's ability to bottle it and implode in spectacular fashion - it's part of their history and they do it so well.
In general, we mods have no problem with people saying the scum might finish above us. But this is a Gooner forum, any cúnt that comes on here aggrandising or venerating or eulogising the vermin will be considered a troll/WUM and a cúnt.

Can we have a clear definition of the above?DB10GOONER wrote:officepest wrote:Maybe, but we're already in free-fall so they'd have to absolutely, spectacularly implode (coupled with a miraculous upturn in our form) not to finish above us.GoonerMuzz wrote:Been putting this off and loath as i am to admit it, i think we're not going to finish above them this season.... then again they may have a monumental collapse again

I think that a comment from a previous season would normally suffice...however maybe not this time

That reminds me.....whatever happened to my old mate Hartson?DB10GOONER wrote:officepest wrote:Maybe, but we're already in free-fall so they'd have to absolutely, spectacularly implode (coupled with a miraculous upturn in our form) not to finish above us.GoonerMuzz wrote:Been putting this off and loath as i am to admit it, i think we're not going to finish above them this season.... then again they may have a monumental collapse again

He must be tugging himself bandy given Dele Alli's recent performances....

Don't slaughter me for writing this but it has to be said. If you look at their goalkeeper and their defence they are very strong. They have the Belgium defenders who should be at Arsenal.
My point is this, they look United and seem to have real team togetherness and here it is they all earn far less than our players and money does not seem to be their biggest motivation. I'm sure Alli will be picked off by a European giant but it does not feel like they will lose many players.
My point is our players have a very cosy lifestyle and as Xhaka said once training is over they all go home separately and never socialise together.
I think Wenger favourite team spirit bollocks is even worse than we thought.

Hopefully they will flog Kane and Alli and reinvest the money as well as with Bale.
