As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Who gives a fuck, really.
Now I got this gut feeling that Wenger's Deal With The Devil will serve him yet again and we will somehow grab a scruffy 2-1 win and the meeja will resort to the old "careful what you wish for" and "who could replace him" bollocks, the AKB will sing Wenger's name, and intellectuals like Kamara, Sheppard, Neville, Carragher and Shearer will pop up with quality input like "aren't Arsenal fans a fickle bunch" and "ooh what a difference two weeks makes!"
Ordinarily I'd agree, but to win we'll have to score and at the moment our 'best football in the PL' generates about two shots on target per game.
I don't think they're much better at the back than we are, but they've many more scoring options.
Heart says 2-1 us. Head says 3-1 to them.
As someone has rightly observed should we somehow manage to secure a win in this game - all the AKBwankers will hail a return to form and all the media who are riding the Arsene gravy train will go into overdrive and use it as a means to slag us off for protesting against wenger & a new contract. Furthermore should we lose and there's every chance we will - The very same sheeple & media will say - Wellll it is man city and they do have Aguero etc etc etc...and then still using it as an excuse to have a go at protesters/wenger out fans - By claiming it is the protests that have had a detrimental affect on the manage, players - either way we will get the blame.

No doubt that you're right OBG (although I really don't think our shambles of an outfit have it in them to win this, or any moderately tough fixture.....can't we play Sutton and Lincoln every week ?!), but we are all over-thinking the situation and becoming paranoid. God knows, I've been through years of it.
However, whether it's the media or the akb, we have to adopt the attitude of "fuck 'em". The regime at the Club is the only enemy we need to concentrate on and whose Machiavellian manipulations we have to try to stay ahead of, outwit and expose. Wealth, power and influence is massively in their favour, but faint heart never won fair lady and we must assume a dogged and determined attitude and carry the fight to them.
As I said, fuck the naysayers, ignore them and give this our best shot. Even if we're unsuccessful, we will have tried and you know what.....we ain't going away !! Fuck 'em !!!
i dont see anything but a defeat, bring it on I say,i cant wait to see Wenger squirming once more, and I will enjoy every single city goal as if they were being scored by ourselves,i just love supporting Arsenal these days
wenger fiddles with his feckin' Zip yet again whilst Arsenal are raped on the pitch and the Pride & Honour of all Gooners is forever tarnished whilst the club falls into the shadow of other london clubs

Half the squad squad are sick of him as well I think and subconsciously wont be able to give it their all.
The ones who do back him, back him for a reason. They are lazy cowards just like Wonga so don't count on them turning up either.
Giroud, Ramsey, Iwobi et al are not exactly the hardened warriors to get you out of a slump are they? Add the dinosaur's personality into the mix and you have a soft bunch of compliant gentlemen.
This team collapses at the earliest sign of trouble and tomorrow is not going to be any different.
"We looked a bit jaded after the international break". Ergo, repeat to fade.
I'm actually looking forward to this match for obvious reasons but i'm also not underestimating the self preservation instincts of our little snowflakes

I've got other things to do on a sunny Sunday than watch Arsene PLC these days, I'll maybe watch the highlights otherwise it's practice for next season and ignoring football completely.
City, along with Chelsea and Tottenham are a team I cant stand losing to. If Liverpool beat us, or even United, its tolerable.
Although the sick feeling of losing, could easily be replaced by the sick feeling of watching Wenger spewing how he 'proved the critics wrong' and how a win over City is this amazing achievement that vindicates Wenger.
I dont really want to win this game. Because if we do, it becomes rationale to paper over the cracks and pretend like there are no problems at this club.
