The scale and coverage of the protests and banners and the significant turn in the media (coupled with consistently pathetic performances) has exceeded anything which could reasonably have been expected in my opinion.

Although I would love for the protests and limp-dicked surrenders to continue, Nothing that happens between now and the end of the season will change whether or not he stays. The board's decision is made and so is Wenger's, even if we are not worthy of knowing yet.
Maybe....but I still feel we need to embarrass them and make life as difficult as possible for them...it is so difficult to keep the momentum going, it is difficult to get people who profess to wanting him out to even help. The pressure needs to stay on, we just have no idea how. We cannot even find ONE person sympathetic to the cause who is going to be at the Palace game :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Tbh I'm not even upset at the lack of a protest Wednesday night cos the organisers and protesters themselves have done an outstanding job to date 8) I agree wholeheartedly that the protests need to continue, but then it is easy for me to say that when I am over here and not expected to attend or under pressure to do so simply cos I cannot get over at the mo.
Right now I would love to know what the mindset of those that feel it is time for change but wont join in protesting for fear of disrespecting the man - do they believe that disrespecting him is a great sin and danger than giving him another 2 years to fcuk this club over ? Do they actually believe that wenker's feelings are more important than the good of the club, or do they believe that the man will walk away of his own accord ? We all know that there are literally thousands of Gooners (many of which attend the games) who believe that it is time for a new manager but wont protest, and that is something I cannot get my head around :?

My last crumb of hope is that gazidas is driving an agenda to push him away - I am one of those that believes gazidas wants him gone, but right now that is not enough unless he has sufficient backing in the boardroom and from kroenke. If he/they stick firm and don't back down on the demands for reform that will take some power away from the arrogant French cock, then maybe he will get the hump and fcuk off.
There is also still some small bit of hope that he hasn't signed and wont until after the cup semi - if there is nothing announced before then, we absolutely need to pray for a citeeh victory. While a thrashing against citeeh would turn up the heat again, I don't think that it is an absolute need - a comfortable 2-0 win for citeeh where they don't even get out of 2nd gear, will again show the absolute lack of progress under this c.unt  Knowing our luck though, citeeh will have one of those "cant get out of their own way" days, and we will turn them over

There is talk of security being beefed up around the training ground this morning.

  I bet there is !!

Frankly, I'd have thought that Wenger would have welcomed our 4th Place Trophy, because he's only gonna get a 6th (or 5th at best) place one from the PL this year. :barscarf:

Agreed. I said on here yesterday Augie, that this is more frustrating than non football types and supporters of other Clubs telling us to be careful what we wish for, he's had no money, etc. Mind you, even worse and I posted this last night, is the thousands of Gooners that not only won't protest, but actually DON'T want him gone !! :banghead: :banghead: It's beyond comprehension.

There are 1000's of fans at the club, who have only ever known Wenger and he has brainwashed them into believing we were nothing before he came, that 4th place is a huge achievement, that 4th place is even punching above our weight, if not for him we would be languishing down the bottom of the table. He has them believing that if he goes, disaster awaits. He has reduced the expectancy of the club and it's fans to mediocrity. It's going to take years to repair the damage he has inflicted on us.

Gazidis cited the last 6weeks as being catalyst for change. I don't think he can push his agenda unless we crash out of the top 4. Like the protests, he needs a series of poor results to maintain the momentum for change. If Le fraud delivers another top 4 finish it's hard to see how Gazidis is going to win this apparent power struggle considering wiggy isn't ambitious and has most likely given the fraud a vote of confidence.

I'm not attempting to make excuses here, but If I lived in London area I would hopefully get to all the marches, but like many on here - it is the travelling - especially mid-week etc - whether home or away games - That proves not possible, also financially especially in the current job climate that I am and I'm sure others are facing.

It is True there is a genuine and soul crushing apathy amongst the majority of Arsenal fans - who seem unwilling to get off their behinds and DO something - The achievements so far in the protests just these past 5 weeks has been Amazing and are all down to the Huge Effort and Determination of a handful of people from this forum and I genuinely appreciate and thank them for their incredible Hard work in the face of unbelievable opposition AND that very same apathy from those who think they want change but are too lazy to do anything about it.

All the work done by you guys so far will NOT go without it's rewards (ie: it has pushed the WENGER OUT) into the thoughts and everyday lives of All Gooners regardless of their stance and opinions) - Even if things do calm down - the slightest whiff of descent about wenger and the club will be reported - before it has only managed a small mention or corner of one of the daily rags.

What does need to be remembered in these difficult and oft depressing times is that the club have professional media people who are well versed in the manipulation of the slightest thing that they think they can 'spin' to their's and wenger's benefit.

Thus this story about Alexis this morning and how the club are making headlines by claiming "He Wants To Stay"

We all know he has 18 months left on his contract and is more interested in Trophies than profit - which is apposed to the clubs predilection and policy.

We can hope that the club will indeed try and force wenger to spend and spend properly - Even so we also 'know 100%' that we could have the finest players in the world - But under his management (and lack of) we still will achieve far less than we could under a Proper Manager.

So again I say: WELL DONE to the guys who have worked minor miracles. All that you have so far done will not be in vain.

There is nothing wrong with demonstrating at the ground at the training ground ,but people should avoid the crusading god is on our side and anyone else is a heretic bullshit .
It's your opinion (and mine) that Arsenal are better served by not renewing tof's contract but that's it there's nothing more.
There is no moral high ground and their is no absolute right here however much we may believe in it .
There are many that feel differently and to insult and mock them is wrong .
One thing about the Lord Wenger ,for all his faults he genuinely loves Arsenal and wants nothing more than our success too he just doesn't understand that he is the problem not the solution .
I want him gone but I will not abuse him or berate those who do not agree !

Agree, but on the subject of abuse, what actually constitutes abuse?
For me, I haven't heard anything on the march that I would consider abusive.

However for some, chanting "get out of our club" or even "wenger out" seems too much, no matter how much that might actually agree with the sentiment. The issue around respect, I'm also find extremely grating. Our banners are very respectful.

The fella holding the Wenger Respect banner in the stadium even said that it would be better if he left this year. :banghead: :banghead:

Fuck him, he is a greedy, self centred narcissistic failure and he is wrecking the club. If he stays it will get worse. He has absolutely zero respect for ANYBODY but himself and his own selfish agenda. He's lucky he is not elsewhere in Europe, they would be pelting him with missiles at the grounds. Fuck him... whatever he gets from us, he has brought on himself. And those that support him for the most part are not so much Arsenal supporters, as they are Wenger supporters.

Wouldn't you?? You go to work at a massive institution where you are accountable to no one, you get paid a MASSIVE salary, your position is not results dependent, the company protect you from anybody and everybody and you decide if and when you want to leave. Why wouldn't he love it??

Wenger has won this one!
He is a clever cock, his mind games are seamless, he makes the right sound bytes and he will definitely get to sign his contract...
We are entering that time of season when players actually get their hands out of their pockets after playing pocket billiards for most of the season getting ready to shine and sign their contracts for next season, it should be noted that this is one of the reasons the club get a second wind and start fucking playing ever since 2006..

The whole Hierarchy at this club is wrong it starts with

1 Wenger
2 Krusty The Clown (with resplendant WIG)
3 Sponsors
4 Chips
5 Gazidis
6 Board of Directors

Now you can see how difficult it is to get this man out, going back to 2006 I stated on the old forum that he had too much power after getting rid of his mate DD, but everyone laughed...
You get what you deserve in this life!

No one can get to him! He has too much power...

Understand that but only to a point - if those that want to keep the old c.unt for a few more years will stand up and make a genuine defence for doing so, then I will respect but not agree with them. Too many however are staying faithful to him based on nothing more that history that was achieved a decade ago - ask these c.unts how they see the club progressing if wenker stays on, and the vast majority of d*ckheads wont be able to put a single sentence together

Wenger doesnt love Arsenal.
He loves the money, power, adulation and God-like status he has received at Arsenal. Thats what he loves. He loves what Arsenal has given him And hes afraid of losing it. Of leaving under a cloud. A failure. Hes a selfish, self-centred, egotist.
Loves Arsenal? Dont make me laugh.

He loves how he has been seen as a genius, a visionary, an innovator. He loves lording it over lazy journos who laugh at his oh-so-clever quips and jokes, while he sits there smirking.

Loves Arsenal?
Hes damaging us with every second he plays this game of will he, wont he get a new contract. And he knows it. He mugging off fans, the board and players and he knows it. He fukin knows it.

Loves Arsenal?
If he loved Arsenal he'd have left in 2014 after the Cup win. (or even before). But no. Not Wenger.
Just like now he made everybody wait. Wait until the very last minute. Until we came back and won. Then he "announced" it on the pitch.
The time was right you see. After a cup win. On the pitch. Whos gonna challenge that?

All this bollox about "seeing out all his contracts" is such bullshit and so convenient. Hes using that to ride out the storm. The lying toerag said he knew what he was doing then backtracked when imo Gazidis stepped in after West Brom.

This is not the actions of someone who "loves Arsenal". Its the actions of someone using Arsenal to further their own aims. Its the actions of someone who loves himself and to hell with everyone else.

Gutted about the march, my lad and his girlfriend hung around, but I and other son were late, just couldnt get away from work so arrived late

Son went into the Northbank with a banner in his hand, rolled up which security showed to a TV monitor and they agreed he could have it back.

So he got in carrying a banner but was too shy to show it (Rather he worried others would have a go at him   Couldnt get them to me as I was in Club.

What Rob says is spot on. Ive never been in Club before but I was amazed, we were on the end of the row and as second half kicked off there was NO ONE sitting beyond us  I thought maybe they were all meeting up for something but they all came in ones and twos over the next 10 minutes. :cussing:

Club level is like nothing else, it honestly is like being in a theatre, no one says a thing, most wierd. When my son looked up to see where we were sitting he said we were the only ones he could see sitting foreward actually interested.

Im sure there are many in club level who do sing but none by where we were

*** IF people want to use a banner V Palace pse let me know, can be collected from Islington, or I can post it FOC. ***
