the chavs are a classless shower of shit and I could give you a billion reasons why ,

as well as the banner saying Vermin and chavs want you to stay maybe get half and half scarves as well more in keeping with moidern football supporters :banghead:
The "circus" as you insist on calling it was created by Wenger not by any of the protesters.
As for "history"? Thats what it is...... history.
And Wenger has shat all over that history and completely destroyed any legacy he could have had by his greed, arrogance, ego and crass incompetence.
Im aftaid you're wrong about the spurs, chelsea, w brom, man u supporters etc, etc, etc.....they really do want him to stay.
They know hes holding us back now. Today. Tomorrow. What happened 13yrs ago dont matter. Its about the future and the now.

Managers dont get new fat contracts because of sentiment. Because of what they did 13yrs ago fs.
Wenger is harming us. Cant you see that he has to go for us to move on.

We are not making enough of this point. The fact that our rivals and their supporters are so keen to see the Old Fraud stay, is a massive indictment. It's also particularly galling when it comes from spurs and Chelsea supporters......the ultimate piss take.

I suggested a protest song about it (they want you to stay, Tottenham and Chelsea, they want you to stay) and tried to get it going at the City protest. No one took it up and people looked at me as though they didn't understand why I was singing about Tottenham and Chelsea, or perhaps it was that supposedly macho sense of mis placed loyalty that some people have....you know, the idea that bringing hated rivals into the protest is a step too far. Either way

A banner saying "Tottenham and Chelsea want you to stay" would be concise and hard hitting. Might be a dangerous one to be holding though !

Sorry mate, they do it because they really do want him to stay. Why wouldn't they?? We've been sliding gradually, but inexorably backwards for 12 years and not only have Chelsea, Utd and City been able to ignore us as a credible threat, but teams with less resources and less potential, such as Tottenham and Liverpool, are or have, gone by us.

Do you really think that scum supporters can't possibly want him to stay because we won the league there in 2004 ??! You don't think they're perfectly happy for the Old Fraud to continue to hold us back, rather than see a progressive manager come in who gets us to punch our weight ?? Why would the Chavs not want him to stay? I don't remember him winning the league there.....in fact, take a look at our record against them since Aramovich arrived.....they'll want Wenger around forever more.

Lastly, those of us who been demonstrating and holding banners obviously want him gone. You'll find that it's the half and half scarf types who are the "modern football supporters" and they want him to stay. Your comparison is flawed.

ARSENAL haven't revealed Arsene Wenger is staying because they fear a fan backlash at the business end of the season.
We all know it'll be announced in the closed season..it's already signed.

To be honest when this reason was first touted on here i discounted it, thinking no they cannot be that underhand.... :D

Whole club is rotten now....

I certaintly wouldnt be anywhere near a banner with spurs or chelsea etc on it.
And finishing above spurs for all these years is very welcome indeed but again its not the standard on which we should be judged. Wenger loves inventing new standards. Like I said in another thread...
4th is a trophy
We were not the worst English team in CL
We are not in the relegation zone
We were top of the away game league
We won the first 45mins

All that is lies and spin and it presumes we are all idiots who pay our cash and take whatever shit he gives us and are thankful for it.
You can put up with being treated like a fool for only so long and Wengers time is long overdue for me Im afraid.

Wenger dont want supporters. He wants cheerleaders.

Spurs fans obviously want Wenger to stay.
They're afraid we change manager and end up with a young, innovative, progressive manager like they have.

Is there something happening for these two away games? Banners at least? I hope so.

Now what about a Wembley protest? We have two weeks until then to sort something (and update the thread title).

Nobody here is going to stand up for Chelsea as exuding class but the reason why they want Wenger to stay (and chant that whilst cruising to another victory against us every year) is because they are delighted that a club who should be rivalling them for titles is being dragged down by Wenger. Some of our fans have unfortunately mistaken 'class' for 'paying a fortune to get shafted by Wenger' and think it means that we should all shut up and accept whatever he decides to do with the club.

And whilst Spurs haven't won everything of note in the last quarter of a century and consistently find a way to finish below us, given that they've comfortably outplayed us every game since Pochettino was appointed, have comfortably been a better side than us throughout the past two years and that we have won perhaps 4 league games there in 20 years, I hardly think they are fearful of Wenger.

Not gonna argue with you calling Chelsea a classless shower of shit Herbert ... but Chelsea are a classless shower of shit that have a winning mentality ... Arsenal are a classless shower of shit that doesn't. And I can give you one Wenger shaped reason why.

As for the half and half scarves, maybe we should get one with ''Wenger In / Wenger Out'' on it just to reflect the damaging divide this prick has created at the club :banghead: .

Are people really still peddling this NONSENSE about Arsenal having class???

get me a vomit bucket. If we had any class they wouldn't treat the fans like they do. We're as classless as they come. Nothing more than an asset in Kroenke's portfolio. Can't be having any of this rubbish about our class.

A classy club wouldn't stick by a manager that openly insults the intelligence of its fans, not to mention downplaying our contribution to the club every f**king chance the deluded c**t gets.

Worst of all saying we had no history (words to that effect) before he came, that's the biggest insult of the lot. Any other club has a media team who drums it into the manager to pay small references everyone once in a while to the past of the club, and actually naming names. In Wenger World there is no past and the club came into existence after he arrived. Bollocks, class my arse. He and the club hierarchy haven't got a clue, but will use the class tag when it suits them and unfortunately so do some of our fans. Class has been led quietly out the back door a long time ago. now it's just a money making machine for the Wig Meister general and his merry band of mercenaries.

It's impossible to argue with the Wengersist Moonie cultists, they go on about respect when they mean everyone should worship at the altar of Arsene PLC 1996, one man is a god, who towers above everything achieved & the history & legacy of a club that was nothing before he arrived.

It's like Pol Pot & the Kymer Rogue year zero,. :barscarf: They even attack Arsenal fans & create a civil war. :box:
