Palace are probably safe from relegation now, and they will play like a team already in holiday mode - a scrappy narrow win for le cock

Nope. Palace only have 31pts.

That's a mere 3 pts above relegation, they are very much still in a relegation battle with Swansea city. Big Sam will feel he needs at least a point from the game.

On Xissential/Beck/Retro's discussion about Relegation being possibly the only thing to remove Wenger, i'm nowhere near convinced, i reckon you'd get the same Fans and Media saying 'He's earned the right to get us back up' or 'Arsene is the only Manager who can turn things round' ad infinitum :banghead:

To be honest Muzz, what xisstential and I were saying is that we would accept any league finish, other than relegation, if it got shot of Le Fraud. I did say that I wasn't convinced that anything, including relegation, would actually see him go, so I agree with you on that.

Regarding the game, I've got no idea. I don't rate benteke, but if he does show up, as he's prone to once in a while, he could be a right handful for our centre backs and Zaha will do the very thing that our defence hates, which is to run at them.

Thinking about it, our defence seems to hate whatever strikers choose to do. :rubchin:

Couldn't give a shit whether we win or not.
I will never forgive Wenger for making me feel like this about the Club I love. :banghead:

Sounds like a competitive league to me
Just because I am sick to death of the excuse mongering settler that is wenger doesn't mean I will spend every waking hour in doom and gloom about the club
He ain't taking my arsenal away
You're very fortunate, he's already taken ours away.

Beck.....i was simply making the point that Utd are on 54 points and are lower than 5th. I'll take your word for it that it has never before happened in the Premier League. Don't see the relevance of the "dogshit" reference.....dogshit or not, they're sixth. I also fully expect the "dogshit" Utd to end up on top of our pile of crap.

As for taking your Arsenal away, well I'm with Xisstential on this. Your Arsenal must be very different to my Arsenal, because mine has not only been taken away, but it's fucking dead.

Still, I suppose it's all about opinions........
I am very much of the opinion that 2nd is nowhere but the handwringing about how other teams could be doing gets on my nerves
Weather United finish above us is open to conjecture
But they ain't there at the moment and if them or anyone else don't
It's their failure not ours
Just like that utter bollocks about only arsenal losing the league last year
Not Man City
Not Chelsea
Not man Utd
Not Liverpool
Our failures are ours I ain't wringing my hands making excuses for others
We have a manager doing that
54 points would never have put us in 8th
I did look
That was the original point
Sadly you might be right about my/our arsenal though
It's defiance that is sounding more hollow by the season
And here we are ..business end of the season...and the Arsenal fans locked in a fierce debate whether we can scrape into Top 4. This is what Wenger has reduced us to...AND it happens every single season without fail, and when we get there it's celebrated like a trophy win.. WHO CARES...I hope we finish in 7th...I have for the past 6 years.
Just so we can concede another fucking 10 goals in our annual CL humiliation....

I'd love Zaha playing out wide for us instead of you know who. A lot cheaper too. Monreal could have his hands full. Still think 1-1. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Hoping for a Palace win or a draw today, it's a shame its come to this, but anything to heap more pressure on the old fraud. :barscarf:

Especially seeing the way the Wenger moonies reacted to beating a terrible side like West Ham. They have very short memories.

Tonight is one of these "do I watch the match or do something else" situations -

If I thought that we were gonna lose then I would watch the game and record the new Prison Break (it's back baby :barscarf: ), but if I felt that we were gonna win I would skip the game and watch the gorgeous sarah tancredi :sex2: :sex2:

Sorry...
A team threatened with relegation against a team of Prima Donnas, a Palace win for me....

We just had our worst run of form since 1995, and the last time Palace beat us? 1995. Hopefully a good omen for an emphatic home win.

I have thought for several months now that we won't get top 4 this season.

I just hope we lose tonight so it becomes ever more impossible.
the longer there is still hope for the AKBs, the less Wenger will get criticised.

the top 4 trophy is the most pointless thing ever though - whatever happened to competing for the title ? :banghead:
