As far as I am concerned, no news is good news and I can cling to the hope that his contract expires and then so does he....rodders999 wrote:So on March 18th after the West Brom rim job Wanka came out and said he knew what he was doing and there would be an announcement "soon".
Fast forward 3 weeks of even more of a shit fest and when asked if there's any news on his future he responds with "none".
Joke club.

This is where he is truly an arrogant *word censored*, soon to him means whenever!....StuartL wrote:As far as I am concerned, no news is good news and I can cling to the hope that his contract expires and then so does he....rodders999 wrote:So on March 18th after the West Brom rim job Wanka came out and said he knew what he was doing and there would be an announcement "soon".

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
It was always his intention to announce his desire to stay after a winning run of games. However that run of results has not been forthcoming, so it has put a spanner in his plans. The irony is, his refusal to reveal his future has contributed to this shit fest which has made it even harder for him to announce the new deal.

Thoughts with Martin Keown and John Cross at this difficult time.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Cross jumped ship a couple of weeks ago and is now spouting on twitter that he has been advocating Wenger leaving for some time. Of course people are digging out his most ridiculous sycophantic tweets from past and calling him out.rodders999 wrote:Thoughts with Martin Keown and John Cross at this difficult time.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Just waiting for Piers Morgan to claim credit for driving Wenger out. Btw some other bloke has started a fundraising protest to get Wenger out. Why would you do that when he can just join the one already going. We are fragmented enough without having 3 or 4 protest groups. And a Scum supporter has started one trying to raise 4m to keep Wenger in.That alone should make people want to give to our cause.blair207 wrote:Cross jumped ship a couple of weeks ago and is now spouting on twitter that he has been advocating Wenger leaving for some time. I just dont get the nosebleed obsession with the idea he must be manager. For some, the idea the Arsenal manager would be anyone else bar Wenger, doesn't register with them.

Classic Stockholm syndrome, they've fallen in love with the geezer who's had them chained to the radiator for the last decade.Wilson wrote:I just dont get the nosebleed obsession with the idea he must be manager. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
You think about it...for any supporter under 25/26 maybe even up to 30 years of age, Wenger is ALL they have ever known and as for the history of the club...they might not even know it or care about it.So for them Wenger is Arsenal and they just cannot imagine an Arsenal without him. I don't even think they wonder if it would be better or worse, as it is inconceivable.Wilson wrote:I just dont get the nosebleed obsession with the idea he must be manager. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I think too many people have been taken in by all these theories swirling around. In all of Le fraud's previous contracts, he's never announced his decision. As gutless as our board are, the announcement has always been down to them. There is precedent. Gazidis has also refuted a lot of the fallacies the fraud has been peddling for the past few weeks and said no contract is signed, decision will be mutual and more importantly there will be changes with or without manager.Wilson wrote:It was always his intention to announce his desire to stay after a winning run of games.
