From what I'm reading it looks like Wenger will sign his 2 year deal unless the board sack him. He has made too much money for Kroenke to sack him so it's civil war and nothing to look forward too for 2 more years. Will have to settle for you tube clips of when the club focused on the team and not money.

He may have made Kronke money historically, but if he misses out in the top four trophy the penny will surely drop (pun intended) that the coffers are about to take a hit. And it will surely be explained to Kroenke that once we're outside the top four it becomes harder to retain and attract the calibre of player we will need to break back in any time soon.

Under those circumstances, why would a man who cares only for the financial return want to retain this old dinosaur?

Watching Juventus, they are so organized and compact. Whenever the didnt have the ball, which was most of the time, you could actually see the shape of the team. They all moved in sync, and pressed the Barcelona player whenever the Barca player received the ball with his back to goal. The more you keep the shape, the less space there is for the other team to exploit. However, when we play, our shape turns to shit too much of the time. Its not uncommon for an opposition player to receive the ball and be in acres of space. Our backline so often never lines up.

We dimply do not deploy tactics. Its Russian roulette - attack attack and leave the rest to chance. With modern technology, modern football clubs and managers have come along way with the tactical side of the game. And its evident in the results - Wenger just cant win in Europe. Not even some of the time. You also see managers like Allardyce, Pulis, regularly get the better of Wenger with inferior players. Then you have better managers like Koeman, who despite never having managed a club bigger than Arsenal with the resources to match, has played Wenger 12 times and won 6, drawn 4 and lost 2. The you have Wenger's record against Mourinho which is infamous.

He is simply a rubbish tactician. He is tactically naive, and doesnt see developments in the game. Throw in poor motivational skills, and he well and truly is a bad manager. If he didnt build up all that goodwill in the first 10 years, he would be managing some bottom half french team.

Even without Top 4 ( Jeeezzzusss that thing is a bloody joke) Kroenke will still make a profit and be kept happy - If wenger was going to walk he would have done so 2 or 3 seasons ago or at the very least announced it by now, but what needs to be foremost in people's minds is he still believes in his deluded mind that he CAN turn things around. We all know he cannot as his methods and approach to the game is Old and out of date.

The CUN.T Will sign - and when he does is when the shyte really will hit the fans.

Arsenal are in talks with Juventus boss Max Allegri as uncertainty over Arsene Wenger's future drags on. (Sun) Some lazy half drunk hack thinks 'Oh! I Know I'll start another wenger rumour to use up page space' :banghead:

But Wenger has told people behind the scenes at the club that it is his intention to stay for another two seasons. (Daily Mirror) :rubchin: 'people behind the scenes' :rubchin: and who is it that writes for this rag of ragpaper john cwoss hmmm! let me see :rubchin:

It was a circus before it is even worse now.

Were the poor diddums upset because of the nasty chanting about not being fit to wear the shirt? Not to mention all those horrid people shouting at the team bus delaying the return to their mansions. Spineless, gutless, yellow COWARDS led by a charlatan, a good for nothing leech, a has been, a fraud, a liar, an adulterer and an absolute cancer on the club.

Hound the lot of em out. SCUM.
I get that both football and times have changed. I get that marketing and even social media are sadly vital these days.

But I saw that Bellerin had got somebody to take a picture of him jogging on a beach on Tuesday morning and posted it on instagram with some caption about recovering from a difficult night. Unbelievable. Seeing our fans almost universally belllowing at the players that they're not fit to wear the shirt whilst refusing to give him the ball back should teach him a bit of fucking humiliTy. I know the guy is still pretty young but he should be fucking ashamed of his personal performances and the team over the last few months. Not bursting to post some shit on social media.

The most satisfying bit of listening to Carragher's cathartic ranting on Monday was when he called Walcott out for his interview. Just looking after his own image and disgraceful to make a throwaway comment about how we knew they wanted it more from the first minute. Do it on the fucking pitch and not in the press room you wankers.

goal.com (that bastion of integrity) claimed yesterday that allegri is on the verge of signing a new 3 year deal with juve ............ that'll be another top manager available to us that we have snubbed  All this absolute bullshit that the akb spout about who is out there to replace wenker, chooses to ignore all the top managers that are changing clubs every season whilst we show undeserved loyalty to a senile old arrogant relic who thinks that he owns our club

I've sadly accepted that he will sign for 2 more years and will probably be announced in June while we are being linked to messi, neymar, lewandowski, griezman etc etc etc.

This will appease a large portion of the fans until by mid august when the trolley dash garners the likes of peter crouch, johnny Evans and lee cattermole, cue the banner holders, cessna's, newly weds etc etc etc

His contract tactics are as absurd as his on field tactics!
0, nil, nought, zilch, fuck all....

I would like to ask 1 question and 1 question only...
With that offer being on the table for the best part of the season, why did you not sign it immediately? or in your language anytime SOON?.....
