No doubt they'll let you know their personal circumstances themselves......

These guys in far flung places like Africa, Australia etc cant get to many games or attend protests this side of the world but want to do their bit.
Just like anything else It starts small on social media and grows. Gets picked up by mainstream media and highlighted on their sites etc.
These guys are actually trying to do something real. Just like the guys today, spending their Easter Saturday visiting London landmarks wirh WengerOut signs and banners and trying to create a bit of a stir and keep the momentum going.
They are getting off their asses and trying. They are the true gooners. They're not like those who spend years moaning and whingeing, who do the sum of fuckall but yet they can pour cold water on, belittle and criticise those of us who do.
Yea, carry on lads.

Absolutely - it is not possible for me to agree with that statement even a small bit more than I currently do![]()
Look it's like this, the club continually beat the drum about how we are such a big club in foreign countries, and that popularity is frequently credited to wenker, so why not turn that worldwide support boast back at them and say that the clamour for wenker's removal is worldwide ? It is continually said that the tourist market will ensure that ticket sales for games will remain high, so why not suggest to the club (and the media) that wenker's mismanagement is being recognized in those countries where many of the tourists come from ? I personally don't give a flying fcuk if the banners in foreign countries are displayed by proper Gooners or not - what I care about is heightening the focus on the c.unt, and bringing as much negative publicity to the club as possible
For the life of me I cannot understand this attitude where we are supposed to show some etiquette or be embarrassed at some of the methods being used by the wob brigade - this is a fcuking war people, and when you are in a war you need to do what is necessary to win. Playing by the queensbury rules is fcuk all use if at the end of it we are stuck with the French pri*k for another contract because we were too classy to get down and dirtyPeople keep saying that The Arsenal way and the class of THE Arsenal is long gone and that was the choice of the club not us, so if they think that treating the supporters any way they please is ok, then they should be treated with the same contempt back, and some misguided snobbery is only getting in the way
On my own behalf, and the behalf of long distance Gooners everywhere, I would like to express my eternal gratitude to those displaying the banners everywhere, for fighting the good fight for those of us that simply cannot be there![]()

100% agree, it is amazing to see how many far flung supporters have got off their arses to do their bit. It is so much appreciated.armchair wrote:People all over the world showing WengerOut banners at random and unexpected places, garnering fantastic exposure for the cause.

A reader of this forum and a fellow WoB contacted me last week saying if we hit our £2500k target, he would match it. I thought it was a wind up or there was some catch but he contacted me yesterday, said there was £403 in the fund and to show his good intent he would put another £500 in...which, if you go check the page, he has subsequently done. So basically he is prepared to match, at the end of every week, what we can raise. This is somebody really putting his money where his mouth is and we need to take him up on his generous offer..
