As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Have to say, this genuinely feels like we're done and dusted this season now. I'd been dubious based on Wenger's track record and the games in hand, but I'm 100% sure we're toast now.
Saw your post and decided to bang 20 quid on us getting top 4 just in case! Don't want top 4 but reckon if it happens then I might as well make money. Returns £260

Okay, so you wouldn't like it... but would it make you reassess Arsenal's overall strategy? Or would you be happy to stick with the status quo and just hope the same doesn't happen next season?
Maybe I'm one of these "spoilt Arsenal fans" for wanting to compete for the title myself, but to see Tottenham competing for the PL and playing in the CL next season while we're in the Europa is just shameful. It's only come to this because Wenger has gradually dragged us down season by season, and the shocking part is that he's convinced a large majority of our fanbase that this is all okay.
We're a million miles behind Tottenham at the moment, and we're now the third best team in London (although even Palace can thrash us 3-0). We're on the slide big time, and if you refuse to see this, then we'll be having this conversation in 2022 when we're the sixth best team in London.
Might sound drastic, but in 2004, who would have said that Leicester and Tottenham would be outperforming us in 2016/17?

We had 5% chance before the ManU - CFC game, according to the FT.
THere's more chance of THFC winning the League. 7%
That classic analysis where they predicted every team in the top half to finish in the exact same place! Sorry Babs.

13 years in from our '71-89' drought....so a title in 5 years? i'm not sure i'll ever see Arsenal ever win a title with Wiggy Kroenke in charge. People say it's Wenger to blame etc, why would Wenger sack himself? Kroenke has to be sacking Wenger...keeping him on is far worse than any shit Wenger tactics/buys .
Exactly, people are missing the point in all this Wenger out stuff, Wenger out should be a given and sometime ago, the fact we have a 'owner' who has backed him and seemingly continues to do so shows the level we can expect under this utter sh*tbag cowboy profiteer. I hope there are riots at the Emirates when we are struggling along over the next few years, I doubt it though, Arsenal fans are too f**king soft, more likely the stadium will just slowly get more and more empty.
We are heading for the dreaded "sleeping giant" status, in fact you could argue we are already there, thank you Enos Stanley Kroenke you absolute c**t and thank you all you c**ts who sold their shares to this parasite. I hope those pr*cks who held the hate Usmanov banners back in 2007 are proud of themselves, brainless morons.

You realise that Usmanov is very pro-Wenger and even suggested last week he should be able to pick his own successor?

No USMANOV wants success we all fucked up when we supported Kroenke back in 2007 that is crystal clear
And can we put to bed this myth that Mr Arsenal David Dein was the keeper of the Arsenal FC flame, no, he was the first person to contact Wiggy Kranky, Now we are at the point where the Arsenal we knew and loved are screwed, thanks to Mr 70million Dein. FUck him and John Wayne

Usmanov may want success but he has publicly backed Wenger on many occassions even though everyone knows that giving Wenger a big pile of cash is a complete waste.
Kroenke didnt become the majority shareholder until 2011.
Wengers project youth, socialist wage policy ineptitude, complacency, arrogance and greed had been going for years before then.
