Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Kroenke took £3m in "consultancy fees" out of the club two seasons in a row but that has stopped now so he's not actually taking anything from the club....besides its soul.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I find it quite sad that some our own supporters are coming out in support of Stan Kroenke, wtf is that all about?, so blinded by the irrelevance that Arsene Wenger should be that they actually think it's good to have a 'hands off' owner who is only interested in money?.
What is his crime?, simple, not sacking Wenger years ago.
When you have zero pressure to succeed, guess what?, you fail.
Arsene FC - a decade of failure and counting but Stan doesn't act. Actions speak louder than words (even for a f**king mute).

Some priceless stuff on here.
Sack Wenger? Kroenke became majority shareholder in 2011. Thats 6yrs ago.
You're asking Stan to come into the club in 2011 and sack Wenger when the majority of our fans still worshiped him?
Even up to 2015 there was a large section of supporters on his side fs. Even now he has fans happy with what he delivers and lots who are not happy but refuse to do anything about it.

It's been pointed out already that Kroenke is an investor not a fan. Why would he sack an accountant who helps him look after his investment?sk-gtfo wrote:I find it quite sad that some our own supporters are coming out in support of Stan Kroenke, wtf is that all about?, so blinded by the irrelevance that Arsene Wenger should be that they actually think it's good to have a 'hands off' owner who is only interested in money?.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I agree that Kroenke has to go but I have zero appetite for that as of now. I don't want to hear a word about Kroenke or Gazidis or directors of football or invincibles coming back into the fold.
I don't want to talk about Steve Bould or the players, potential signings or whether Ozil and Sanchez are pissing off or not.
The sole focus has to be on getting rid of Wanka, that is literally all that fucking matters for now. The rest of the issues can be dealt with in due course but for now, all the effort and all the focus should be on one target - hounding that cretin out the fucking door in disgrace.

This fact has been repeated time and time again. Kroenkes isnt a gooner like you or me. He hasnt followed the club since he was a boy like some of us. Hes an investor. We cant expect him to behave like a fan.General wrote:It's been pointed out already that Kroenke is an investor not a fan. Page 2100 - 96 years without a league title...
Arsenal drew 1-1 with Crawley Town for this month's showpiece event on Mars to miss out on the title once again. 151 year old manager Arsène Wenger, whose life force is sustained with his trademark stubbornness, refusal to give in to logic of human mortality - and the blood of Martin Keown and various willing AKBs, said 'We lacked little bit quality and mental strength.' Before he smirked at the interviewer.
This is the 1,052nd game that Wenger - who holds 97% of Earth's wealth - has lost to a side managed by an inanimate carbon rod. The rod was said to be highly amused that Wenger has given the same reasons once again, even though a child could defeat Wenger's tactics. Who could forget that game when Arsenal lost to then-Champions League holders AFC Wimbledon, when just for a laugh, they turned up with no manager and no staff and still beat Arsenal 4-0.
Arsenal's 100% owner Josh Kroenke IV could no be reached for comment, although is thought to be behind the World Government's crackdown on dissident Arsenal supporters and their descendants who have been calling for the manager's head for almost a century, the scattered remnants of which are thought to be in various Pacific islands after the tactical nuclear strikes on most global outlets of the Arsenal Supporters Club. Kroenke continues to deny all involvement.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
It's not about supporting Kroenke, it's about seeing who the bigger problem at the club is, and that's Wenger. Kroenke provides plenty of transfer funds and doesn't interfere with the footballing side of the club, which means he has given Wenger every opportunity to achieve success. The logic of seeing Kroneke's removal as crucial, completely falls down when a competent manager would have achieved success, with the same circumstances, under the same owner.sk-gtfo wrote:I find it quite sad that some our own supporters are coming out in support of Stan Kroenke, wtf is that all about?, so blinded by the irrelevance that Arsene Wenger should be that they actually think it's good to have a 'hands off' owner who is only interested in money?.

So what will your opinion on Kroenke be now if he gives Wenger a 2 year extension this Summer?armchair wrote:Some priceless stuff on here.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
There should be no talk of kroenke or anyone else for that matter on this thread. Te only bloke who has total control over the footballing side of the club is the number one problem.
I don't understand why half of this forum have been bleating on for years about how Wenger has to go and now we are actually getting somewhere on that front with people actively trying to get him out people are switching the debate back to the owner. Fuck him.
I said before the only way to get rid of the bloke that has paid millions out to acquire his shares and ownership of this club is to hurt his investment via not going to games and paying for season tickets. The same people moaning about the owner now instead of Wenger are the ones who cry about giving up their season ticket because "they have had it for 30 years" or "a tourist will just buy it". With this attitude the owner is untouchable and couldn't give a fuck what you think or say or protest because the dollars will still keep rolling in. A total boycott is the only thing that would work and as i have said your all too scared to do that.
The fact is that we are massively under achieving with the resources available to the manager already in transfer fees and wages and that isn't down to the owner. The lack of tactics, the lack of motivation, lack of planning, and lack of shooting at goal for that matter is down to one man and one man only.
Fuck me i have gone on a rant now and there's even more i was about to say but it's totally pointless.
Wenger out now!

Who the fcuk is defending kroenke ?? That is classic deflection - criticize kroenke and as soon as anybody tries to remind you that this is all about getting rid of the manager, you turn it around and claim that people are defending kroenke

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I was gonna post exactly the same augie.
We could also say that those who post on here blaming Kroenke are "defending Wenger"
But we dont need to make up bullshit or spout lies to make our point.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
This Kroenke stuff is getting fucking annoying
Of course Kroenke should not be offering Wenger a new contract but if he does and Wenger signs it is because he CHOSE to sign it ... meaning Wenger has chosen to stay and chosen to continue to hold the club back.
Nobody is denying Kroenke is a problem but the man is NOT forcing Wenger to stay at the club.
WENGER IS THE PROBLEM!
