Sack Wenger? Kroenke became majority shareholder in 2011. Thats 6yrs ago.
You're asking Stan to come into the club in 2011 and sack Wenger when the majority of our fans still worshiped him?![]()
Even up to 2015 there was a large section of supporters on his side fs. Even now he has fans happy with what he delivers and lots who are not happy but refuse to do anything about it.
What are you doing to get him out?
THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
We've had this debate before and nothing has changed since then. Wenger is the problem and as long as hes in charge of football we'll be stuck with mediocrity. Kroenke, Usmanov dont matter while Wengers there.
OK?
Now you tell me what you're doing to get Kroenke out?

He's hardly forcing him out either is he by offering him a new deal?Clash wrote:This Kroenke stuff is getting fucking annoying![]()
Of course Kroenke should not be offering Wenger a new contract but if he does and Wenger signs it is because he CHOSE to sign it ... meaning Wenger has chosen to stay and chosen to continue to hold the club back.
Nobody is denying Kroenke is a problem but the man is NOT forcing Wenger to stay at the club.
WENGER IS THE PROBLEM!
Do you honestly think Lord Cuntchops is going to walk away from £8.5m (or whatever it is) if its being handed to him on a silver platter, free from any expectation of producing a competitive team? Ask yourself honestly, who would turn that down? The owner could make one phone call tomorrow and say "Arsene, that's all, pack your bags and fuck off" and everyone would have their wish......but he isn't going to is he?
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Sadly I don't have the hundreds of million £s sloshing around in my bank account to buy him out, so seeing as you're ever resourceful what do you suggest?armchair wrote:We've had this debate before and nothing has changed since then. Ah the old reliable do nothing stance. Works for me. How do you explain the "freebies" from the "sheep" season ticket holders then?g88ner wrote:Steveo has voted with his feet like many others. Try gettin off your arse and letting Kroenke know how you feel when you're next in the Emirates on a "freebie" That'd be a start......SteveO 35 wrote:Sadly I don't have the hundreds of million £s sloshing around in my bank account to buy him out, so seeing as you're ever resourceful what do you suggest?armchair wrote:We've had this debate before and nothing has changed since then. I'll need to pick a day when he's there for a start. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Kroenke discussion is so boring, he is the owner of Arsenal football club. calling for him to leave is akin to doing absolutely nothing to change the situation at Arsenal. Pissing in the wind.
He's not going anywhere for as long as there are profits and Arsenal remains a lucrative asset in his portfolio. IT IS A WASTE OF F**KING TIME to talk about Kroenke. Focus on Wenger first and once he's gone, we can turn our attentions to hitting Kroenke in the pockets.
Wenger is in control of all footballing matters at Arsenal. This is what fans care about the most, challenging and potentially winning trophies. A better manager will be able to deliver better results on the pitch - even if there is no pressure to win things from the owner, a manager like Allegri for example will desperately want to win things at Arsenal for his own pride and his own legacy at the club.
Simple as that. Wenger has no pressure to win from above, and he's content being a serial under-performer because he sees top 4 as a trophy and the board are accepting. A new manager with ambition and drive will naturally want to do better even if there is no added pressure from above.
Bring in an Allegri, and he'd change everything about the football at this club simply because he's a winner by nature. And if we don't get a manager like Allegri after Wenger goes, say the board bring in someone who isn't really qualified for the role, it still doesn't matter in the long run, because any new manager will be judged much more harshly on their performance by the fans and by the board, unlike Wenger. Meaning we'd sooner be rid of that new failing manager MUCH MORE quickly than Wenger - who built up a lifetime supply of credit and gratitude from the board and fans. We can keep changing managers until we get it right. Wenger is the first obstacle.
The war may be Kroenke, but the first battle that must be won is getting rid of Arsene Wenger, he is clearly the one holding the club back the most in the immediate future.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Just as expected and predicted even those wanting wenger gone are now arguing amongst themselves.
this place has is going to shyte - just like out football club.
We ALL want the cun.t OUT! Some are in a position both time wise and financially to do more than others that does NOT make them more caring or loyal or whatever.
So can people please take a breather - and stop accusing and name calling ffs and/or by inference or by other means...this nastiness and splintering is what WE don't need - The protest/Argument/Problem is "Wenger" and the club.
We know who the Organisers are - and we are all (well I am) incredibly appreciative of everything they've done and are doing.
But first we get shot of wenger THEN we look to the next problem
btw: IMO Anyone not wanting the cun.t Gone is also a cun.t
So can we stop the accusations & arguing amongst ourselves FFS!

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I like freebies to be honest; i guess steveo is the same! In fact im writing this from Bangkok airport as im heading home from a 2 week freebie at a beach resort in southern Thailand. Free food and drink tooarmchair wrote: Ah the old reliable do nothing stance. Works for me. How do you explain the "freebies" from the "sheep" season ticket holders then?

Anyway, this isnt a pissing contest. Everyone protests in their own way. Its great that fans are protesting each week now as it cranks up the pressure but empty seats are great to see too

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Theres loads of gooners who think Kroenke is to blame for Arsenals failure to properly compete.
I hear it on social media, on here and in grounds all the time.
Nothing to stop getting a group together and planning something. Make your voices heard. Do something tangeable.
I certaintly would have no problems with it. Dont see how people have problems with our approach.
