As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

But IF a win meant 2 more years of Wenger, while a defeat (and Chelsea double) meant a next day Wenger resignation, which would you choose?
Of course its completely theoretical, but if that was the cast iron guaranteed offer then I would settle for the Chavs winning the cup final. The day they won the CL was the day everything that followed became a little less painful so another FA Cup win wouldn't matter the odds in the overall scheme of things.
As you say though, the reality of life is that he will be here anyway
Getting rid of Ozil, Bellerin ect is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. These are top players who ever they ever left, would be snapped up by the likes of Barcelona, City, Chelsea, United ect.
Nasri, Cesc, Clichy, Toure, RVP, Cesc all played in the same team, yet they all won the premier league as first team players at other clubs. Some might say, they played with better players. Rubbish!!! RVP was Man United's best player by country mile. Why can other managers win with these players, yet when Wenger had everyone one of them - we never got close?
The media try to make it appear the players are absolute dog shit, which means Wenger cant really be blamed. However, I think the lack of results isnt indicative of lack of ability, but more so because they are not managed properly.
Wenger is a lemon of a manager, who has failed. We cant allow this media trick of 'its the players fault' as it allows Wenger to weasel out of his crimes. Wenger is a slippery fuker who commits the crime, but sneaks out the back door leaving his players at the scene of the crime just in time for the expose.
Forget singling out players. Its Wenger who is guilty.

Turns out that when shit for brains said he would let us plebs know what was happening in "March or April" it was just another one of his gigantic fucking lies

How else is he supposed to smugly ram it down everyone else's throats that it is his decision alone and he will tell everybody when it suits him.

so assuming there is no announcement before the end of the season is Wenger really going to announce he is staying if we fail to get top 4 and potentially get hammered by Chelsea in the cup final ??

A week after the Cup Final, everybody will be away from football, thinking of the summer holidays and have an Oh Well attitude.

We've ridden our luck for years by squeezing into the top 4 at the expense of others but the chickens have come home to roost now and there's a long queue of them. The writing has been on the wall for a few months now and I think some fans are playing the devil's advocate by secretly hoping that we would somehow click into gear and magically sprint to the finish line ahead of others. I hate to be blunt but it's not happening I'm afraid. Ready yourselves for Thursday night football on channel 5.
Wenger's so called pact with the devil has been broken and the protests have certainly played a huge part. He is performing CPR on a team that's long dead and buried and there's a stark reminder of this after every couple of games. We are in unchartered territory now.
