THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Facts, logic and reasoned argument mate. Never gonna work on here I'm afraid.

Just watch the bloke on the roundabout.

"Be careful what you wish for you mugs. Who you gonna get? Sam fucking Allardyce"

Priceless.

Pity they chose to confront the anti-Wenger rally at the roundabout though. Can't they just do their own thing and leave us alone? At least this time they didn't get violent like they have in the past.

Love that they have recruited "flag man" to dance about in front of the guys and wave his flags around. Great job flag man.

Also love "You're wrong with the Wenger [out] blud!

Wonder if it's anyone from off here. :rubchin:

Embarrassing stuff

I know he was taking the piss, but you know what... given the option, I reckon most on here would choose Big Sam over Wenger. I know I would

I don't know who's worse the AKB's or the obsessive WOB.

I guess we'll only know for sure what the club will look like after Wenger once the c**t has gone assuming silent scum is still around, let me ask you this though, if Wenger is still here next season is Kroenke not to blame for that?, because if not I don't see at what point you would ever hold him even slightly responsible for the demise of Arsenal FC. I'm sure I asked this before but got no answer...

So what's happening in effect, is that Wanker will stay and even though things have been fucking dire and embarrassing for years, nothing will actually change. I love the bit about changes to the coaching team will represent a red line. Yep, because they've worked so well over the least 13 years, haven't they? Even after years and years of failure of dragging this club further and further down over the years, the stupid *word censored* is demanding he be allowed to continue doing everything his way for as long as he wants. The one thing this club is crying out for, is a change in the structure of the coaching, tactics and training methods. This is now becoming so laughably shit that it's actually beyond belief to think that despite everything- the thrashings, the humiliations, the players not bothering to play for him, the fans angry and fighting each other, that this *word censored* is going to continue to be allowed to do things exactly as he wants. Have some fucking humility you stupid ego-mad narricissit. Have some fucking respect for the club and some common fucking sense.
The more I think about this, the more I see a comparison to a frail old person whose family want them to move into a home. It's like all the family are there every week hoping that they see sense and do what's best because they're incapable of looking after themselves and it's going to end in disaster. Watching Wanker at Arsenal is now like watching an 85 year old with dementia refusing to leave their house when they are convinced it's 1955, keep serting fire to the curtains and kitchen, shitting everywhere and confusing the half-starved cat with their dead husband.

Or in Wenger's case, confusing this half arsed team of his with the Invincibles

Yeah saw that. Zero surprise here tbh. The man runs the club. :| Can do what he wants basically. Won't be sacked. Won't be brought to task for failure. It's crazy shit. :?

In football, historically, the man with the least secure job at any club was always the manager. And rightly so - it's supposed to be a results driven business. At some clubs a run of poor results (never mind a run of poor seasons) would see the manager get sacked. We have gone to the absolute opposite extreme and the man with the most secure job at our club is our manager. I've never been one for swapping managers every season, but there has to be a happy medium between that stupidity and the rank stupidity of retaining a failing manager for 13 years past his best by date...

Jesus H Christ ( apologies to anyone offended ) :banghead: :cussing:
What a wanker, a self confessed ex Man Utd supporter who gave up on them to follow Arsenal, having the audacity to lecture US on how we should feel about our club and in particular it's failures.

He is all that is wrong with modern football :censored:

I can't believe an article like this was actually allowed to make it into print - this person is not a football supporter, he is just a middle class bandwagon jumper who really should shut the fuck up :banghead:

:coffeespit:

That has to be a.... sorry... :coffeespit:

Surely that has to be a wind up? What "fan" would admit to being a clubhopper and then write something like that, publicly naming themselves? Has to a journo or a scum fan with an agenda to take the piss and make us look worse than we already do.

If - a big if tbh - if it is legit then he is indeed EVERYTHING that is wrong with modern football and a cúnt to boot.  :censored:
