He's staying......unfortunately
If this is the case, why haven't they announced it already?

Just a glimmer of hope but this does lead me to believe he's done for. A Board meeting in the close-season usually means that the manager's off or a popular player is being sold. Knowing us though, it'll mean Sanchez is off and Wanker is staying.

Confirmed what everybody knew - that the board won't be the ones to get rid of him. "Of course I will be there" - do you really think a manager would be invited to a board meeting where they were going to have a full and frank discussion about his future, or possibly lack thereof? Of course not.

Only hope remains that he has had a guts full and fucks off somewhere else. He isn't so delusional that he hasn't noticed the protesting etc, although he is certainly arrogant enough to pay it no regard.

Welcome from Adams (another person on the blacklist now for AKBs), but as I recall he has come out with plenty of "be careful what you wish for"s down the years and whilst he is and will always be an enormous legend, it does smack a bit of personal vendetta because he wouldn't give him a job.

Still think a one-year deal which will be expressly sold as his last and a succession plan could be on the cards.

And it will be an absolute disaster...all the good players leaving, nobody decent coming in. Who would want to come to us now...and even if they did, Wenger won't manage them properly, so they'll be treading water in their first season. Treading water while the club continues to slide backward.

I truly believe if he stays for another season we'll finish around 7th or 8th.

Can you really see it being sold as his last?
Instead of a rolling 2 year contract it is a rolling 1 year contract. No real difference.

Got to remember a large number of fans still support him...(Read untold Arsenal)

Most of Emirates fans are totally apathetic to the situation, fan base has changed.....a lot of day trippers tourists and corporates

Last visit there was reprimanded for shouting and signing......stewards are a total joke, let away fans stand all game do what they want

would say its been gentrified but more like comatose sheep, who seem to have no interest in the game, only to add on Facebook or whatever they they are doing something

Will never be large scale demonstrations against him at the Emirates.....over the close season most will just moan and resume as before

Where's the logic? See my post above.....why would Kronke want to keep a lame duck manager who he knows will lose him money?
Loose money? not too sure about that as Wenger said it is sold out every week 60,000

Kronke?....Wenger has already stated that he has FULL backing of Kronke, thats where his confidence stems from

He knows he is staying,he has already said he is managing next season, if anyone goes in the future will be Gazadis

Basing a lot of my info on what has actually been stated publicly (understand Wenger has proven to have told mistruths previously)

Pretty much agree apart from the stewards. I'm in block 6 and they are excellent. During a league cup game, a bloke and his kid were moved because they didn't want to stand. IMO, behind goals should be ok to stand, on the sides not so much.
He knows he is staying,he has already said he is managing next season, if anyone goes in the future will be Gazadis
I thought he actually said he would be managing next year and his preference would be Arsenal. I thought that was also said before our annual collapse (though i could be wrong).

Just to add on Loose money quote....the economic model is strong - £12.6m profits and £123.7m cash reserves, at the latest count – the club works.
Kronke publicly stated NOT interested in winning trophies wants it as a long term investment for his sons, he going no where fast!
