Roman undone by a mercenary in Moscow (22/5)

usual thread starter… did you enjoy it? Did you ever think in a million years John Terry would miss that penalty? I certainly thought it would go in.
I hope Avram Grant keeps his job, although he’s got no chance has he? I kind of like the old sod. Which of Chelsea’s players do you think will be off in the summer?

Never thought in a million years Terry was gonna flunk it, I was picturing a total Vieira FA Cup 2005 moment, El Capitano slamming home the final penalty to consign Utd to a 5-4 defeat. I was screaming with delight when he missed, never thought I could be so happy about a Manure CL Final win. But for the dark mercenary forces of that shite small west london club with no history to prevail would have been a bad day for us, and a worse day for football.

Wanted Chelsea to lose for 5 reasons
1.They are a London club and i dont want any other London team to win the CL other than us
2.Cashley Cole biggest crunt in the world
3.Their johnny come lately fans
4.Their anti football
5.Roman Abramovich
I dislike Man Utd but a Chelsea win last night would have been unbearable

Double Ditto!!
Had the Chavs won I would have woken up the most miserable bloke in the world today. Summer would have been intolerable and the stuff we would have had to endure from Chelsea fans from now and until we eventually win it would have been too hellish to bear.
The victory of Man utd was definately the lesser of two evils as far as I am concerned.

United winning was probably the lesser of two evils, but mainly because as in doing so we saw the best possible end of Drogba in english football...see yer, mug!!
Plus of all the images we see of 'heroic' JT we now have a montage of him crying into Avram Granst shoulder to Take That to look back on (and p*ss ourselves too!)
...brilliant, well almost

Oh dear - I understand all the sentiments but wanted Chelski to win, if only to avoid the outcome where ManUre had the 2 trophies we coveted. Oh well, guess it was as near as one can get to that impossible dream of both teams losing, what with penalties, Drogba's red card and most of all 'SuperRon's' fluffed penalty.
And serves them bloody right for pricing Anelka out of our reach. PS love the new emoticons!

Really pleased that Chelsea are not the first club from London to win it. I thought it was an excellent game - and Cashley had by far his best game since leaving Arsenal (that's the first time I've seen him cross the halfway line).
Terry crying, wonderful. Ferguson smiling, we'll have to live with that.
I am very pleased for Ryan Giggs - a truly wonderful player, never seems to be in the papers for the wrong reasons. I always felt that Beckham was not fit to lace this man's boots. A legend of the game, not just Man Utd, and he deserves all the plaudits he may receive.
