THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thank Fudge, no more Virtual. Trophy to underpin his bullshit. He'll have to answer questions all the way up to the final. That's not going to give him a get out now that his best defender is out. Maybe his deal with Louis Cipher has been rescinded

So.......let's ask the unthinkable.......

What do we want to happen to happen in the FA Cup Final?

I really have sunk this low that I want him hammered 5-0. To the team I loathe most in the world.

Because trust me, that would leave him NOWHERE to hide. He would go. 1-0 or 2-0 would give him room to squirm about the speeret against a very good team.

There - I've said it. I feel better now.

He's reduced me to this, but yes, massive stuffing for the old turkey please. Just saw a little old lady with an Arsenal programme in my tesco local. I asked her "Wenger in our Out" and she said something about him being a nice man (debatable) but it was time to go. Hopefully the tide is turning

The problem is he already has excuses made & ready whether we lose 2 - Nil or 7 - Nil, with Kos getting sent off and Bambi injured he can say that had we had our regular Defence/CB's blah blah fuckkin :blah: :blah: :blah: :banghead:

I can't believe it has come to feeling like this about Arsenal in a cup final. Until I saw his post-match interview I was genuinely conflicted. I sensed deep down that the outcome WILL impact on whether he clings on, yet I couldn't bring myself to want us to lose a final, to Chelsea of all teams. It seemed too high a price to pay, even to be rid of him.

So I want to thank him for the interview which had helped me realise that there is no other way to see him gone. He believes that the fans have prevented his team from fulfilling their destiny of fourth place. Well this fan of 50 years is not going to be blamed. I want the chance of a team to be proud of again. He is being truthful for once when he says his future will be decided after the final. He would love to be able to say it has been rubber stamped. But he isn't being allowed to.

If you believe that seeing Wenger gone this summer is essential if the club is to start to recover, then only a hammering next Saturday will do. Anything less and he stays and takes us down further for longer.

Real Madrid win La Liga.

''Its been a long time coming'' said the commentator. 2012 was their last title ... and thats a long wait? ... try waiting since 2004 .... and all under the same manager :suicide:

Very much doubt Real would have had to wait 5 long years if Wenger hadnt kept turning them down to stay loyal to us though

Conflicted is a good choice of word Bob. No fan should feel conflicted ... and if they do ... the heads of those responsible should roll.

Arsenal in 2017 are in a unique and freakish situation. Mainly caused by one unbelievably selfish man not knowing when it was time to go.

This is something that really irks me about Lord Wenger and his moonies, that somehow he is a martyr to poor old Arsenals cause...utter nonsense. He wouldn't last 5 minutes at a club like that....there are NO big clubs who want him, he is a busted flush, pure and simple, yet AKB's peddle this guff and Wenger continuously hints at it..

Wenger also tried to justify his title drought by saying that Real Madrid haven't won the league in five years.

I wonder when was the last time that two London clubs finished more than 10 points above us?

Mid 70s maybe? Before that? Never?

Maybe Wenger has set yet another new club record :barscarf:

Absofuckinglutely, old chap. Absofuckinglutely. This *word censored* has lipped off against the fans so many times but this is the worst of the lot. Instead of admitting his own failings and apologising to the punters, he's blamed us for everything. He honestly thinks this world revolves around him and that unless everything is his way, it's wrong. He is a complete narcissist. He's a textbook ego-maniac. No other manager in my lifetime, anywhere, has been so disrespectful to his club's fans. He's like a spoilt brat child that once upon a time got attention but now needs to fuck off and stop being so obnoxious. I am ashamed to have this man managing the club. Fucking ashamed.
