THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Martin Keowns reckons Sanchez and Ozil contract situations was the problem. But said jack shit about Wenger.

These fuking smart asses who think Sanchez is a problem player and actually say out load that Arsenal will be strong if they keep Wenger and sell Sanchez. What the fuck is it with some people? Granted football is about opinions, but some opinions by former players and professional pundits are just fuking stupid.

Martin Keown, Gary Neville, Thierry Henry, David Seaman, Robert Pires, Gilberto to name a few - are fucking bat shit crazy with their analysis on our current situation. The only ones who really get it, are Paul Merson, Adrian Durham, Craig Burley, Piers Morgan, Graham Souness even Micheal Owen who is one of the worst pundits ever!!

Chris Sutton is the one who really gets it in my opinion.
He apparently had a go at Wenger on BT sport on Sunday , and then last night on radio 5 he absolutely hammered Wenger saying that he had no respect for the fans

The media were massaging his ego by saying how 75points is a record for a non top 4 finish and how he must be annoyed by it. Someone then said they lost 9games to which Wenger replies by stating that the unbeaten team won 26games and this lot won 23 so they are not far off or something along those lines. The self gratification was sickening. Not a single mention of the fact that the gap to the champions has grown from 10points to 18points.

This. Wenger going on about missing out by a point, tells you all you need to know. He ain't bothered about winning the league.

Yet no matter how much contempt his shows to the supporters people still stayed silent...
Tells you everything about the ambition of this club and its players.

"It's been a rollercoaster of a season, difficult, in the sense that we didn't manage to achieve our objective," Giroud said.

There we go our objective is top 4, nothing more, pathetic.

Still I can rest easy now knowing Giroud is likely to stay, I was having sleepless nights about his future.

Amazingly, the number of other massive clubs willing to pay him over 100k a week and give him first team football total 0.

They wouldnt take him. He would get all the lunatics on his side, and agreeing with the bollocks hesprouts. Bit like Arsenal PLC really.
