Chelsea (N) | FA CUP FINAL | Sat 27 May 2017 | 17:30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal have announced that they have cancelled the live screening of the F.A. Cup final at the bowl because of,"increased security concerns."
It wouldn't be because they having a job shifting the tickets then? :rubchin:

I hope we smash their living arseholes in and stop them winning another double. Obviously, having a functioning brain and all, I'm not confident we can do that, but I fucking hope and pray we do. :box:

UTA!

I used to think that way, I used to absolutely despise Chelsea for the way they bought success, now all I feel is envy, because they have an owner who wants to win, not one who wants to use the club as a cash machine with no risk to himself.

If getting a good battering can destabalise the "regime" even more then so be it, isn't winning the FA cup a bit like finishing 2nd last season? - all it does is paper over the cracks as they say.

Having said that I'll be happy if we win, but it wont be like the old days happy, it will be tarnished by the realisation that it probably means more of the Stan & Arsene show.

I'll expect three at the back to start. TOF typically reverts to 4-2-3-1 on 70 minutes, barring going down to ten men.

I'm expecting we'll get brown-holed, but not sure what I'll think if we fluke a win, given the bigger picture. I imagine they cancelled the Cashburton screening due to a high chance of a revolt when we lose and there's a notion that TOF will stay anyway.

Have they really cancelled the parade though? Not that I expect us to win, but I'd want the option of going along if we do somehow win.

Remember tens of thousands of fans walking around sunny Cardiff with a red Mohican spray painted in their hair.

Ljungberg was absolutely class in that run in, came up with the goods every single fucking game at the business end in a way I've never seen before. And scored one of the great FA Cup final goals, although not even the best in that game!

Bizarrely the game was played before we tied up the league at Old Trafford as I remember?

I know some on here like to look through everything the club says/does but FFS come on, engage the brain cells on this one. There's rugby and football finals in the city on the same weekend, in the days after a fatal terrorist attack occurred in the country.

Although I would want it to go ahead (and the parade), I do understand that they'd need to find more stewards to police outside and check everyone. Plus maybe the Met weren't keen on them holding it in now.

Freddie's goal was top drawer, from the half way line just ran at them bounced of Terry to the ground and curled a peach into the corner.....love Dixon celebrating behind the goal before it actually goes in.

Not fit to represent the Arsenal in a cup final or to wear the captain's armband in any sense of the word.

He's been back from injury for months now and we've played just about everybody else registered with the club instead of him.

Fucking coward. Sums up the erosion of leadership and the captaincy at the Arsenal. Thank fuck we tied him down on a new deal in January on big money, the big guns would be circling now otherwise.

He's a fucking prick, isn't he? Shit , lanky *word censored* who shouldn't be anywhere near the third team, let alone the first XI.
