To be fair to Robbie, he is a closet WOB. He told me so, in person, on the night of the Bayern protest 8) He's obviously taking devil's advocacy beyond all logic

I wouldn't trust TOF to spend a tenner, with the amount he's pissed away in wages alone for shite, let alone his own obscene wages.

I expect the wanker to stay on, but this is the greatest open-goal chance the club has to let him go. But knowing our luck, the board will have Gervinho's shooting boots on :suicide:

Remind me to have a word with you about widening your vocabulary. With your constant use of foul language, it's clear that the books you write must be filth laden, sexually deviant, perverted, "adult" novels. It's a disgrace and you ought to be thoroughly ashamed of yourself !! :x

Ps.........can you send me a copy in a plain wrapper please ?

I take your point Flash, but for me, and I don't give a flying fuck what any hipster modern fan thinks, it's tainted for them. It's been bought. And no Arsenal fan should have any respect for them, even begrudging respect. They are everything that is wrong with the modern game. I know one chav fan. Played football with him for near on 20 years and he dropped his season ticket, stopped going (after 30 years of travelling over for hundreds of games) and now goes to Charlton instead (fuck knows why he chose Charlton  ). But regarding the chavs he said it's devalued for him, it's the footballing equivilent of X Factor, it's manufactured, it's for cúnts. 8)

Its strange i know a family of Chav fans (they are all nice decent people actually  ) but they followed the chavs through the division 2 days and the father has been a fan for 40-50 years or more and they think all their Chrstimas' have come at once!!! Been to European Cup finals in Moscow and Munich more cup fionals than i can remember and have no guilt or shame about the way they are winning. The exact opposite to your mate in fact.

I sometimes wish i was living through history rather than harking on about it
My mate has integrity. Your neighbours are (like 99.99% of chav fans) bosh bosh dollop loadsamoney chav cúnts.

Let them enjoy their short-lived decade of success. These things go round and round, and when we are shot of Wenger we will have huge success again, and we will make new history to add to our long history, and all they will have is their little 10 years of pimped wins, and people will look upon them as what they are; a small nothing club that bought success temporarily and went back to mediocrity.

Tell your neighbours to enjoy themselves. Tell them I think they are cúnts, but enjoy themselves.

But in their hearts Flashy me old mate, in their hearts and souls, they wish they could be The Arsenal, they wish they were a big club, they wish they were respected in the game, they wish they had our history and our tradition and our stature, and most of all they wish they were not just the local joyrider that tried to buy his way into the golf club with his lottery winnings. 8)

DB, I seem to remember reading on here, quite a while ago, pre my being a poster, that you'd had a book/s published.........the genre was fiction, obviously.

I also have the gut feeling they will "agree" with him that he won't be offered an extension in two years and that they will sell this idea to us the fans and to the media morons as basically Arsene's decision and as Arsene then "sacrificing" himself for another two years to "steady the ship" and "help with a smooth transition" while the club try to find a replacement for the irreplaceable Jesus Arsene Christ himself. Their hope being that this would difuse the discontent and protests to such a level that the plan can be "reassessed" in two years time, if need be... :| :censored:

It's a classic PR strategy and tbh it's what I would do if I was a football club owner or Board member type cúnt. :censored:

I think that we all know that it wont work this time - we know that a lot of fans will go back to be silently unhappy if he signs a new deal, but there will be a lot of fans who will still be visibly vocal on a frequent basis, and many others will join in when the inevitable shite results come along. For me there is absolutely no way in the world that they can successfully sell the idea of wenger signing a 1 year deal much less a 2 year deal - like it or not there are a lot of our fans who want wenker out by in a peaceful way, and they have sat quietly over the past few months (while others have protested) because they felt that this summer was going to bring the happy ending they wanted (wenker's reign finishing without him being sacked or hounded out). Many of those fans will be, along with the rest of us, horrified at the prospect of a failed manager and failed system being retained for another game much less another season. We (the fans and the club) have the perfect chance for a half decent outcome here - wenker steps away gracefully and the club doesn't have to sack him cos he is out of contract. Signing a new contract ensures, in my opinion at least, that wenker's reign will end with his sacking - the club and him might try to portray it as one of those "mutual decisions" things, and they might even try to use medical grounds as an excuse for his departure, but everyone will know that he is being moved on cos he is now a failed manager

Very good points mate. The division between Wenger and the fans has been growing wider every season and the board will know that extending his contract would only serve to perpetuate the problem. This season has proved that the unrest and protests can destabilise the team. I guess it would come down to the weight this is given when they make their decision. I just don't think they will sever ties with him without giving him a proper farewell but that opportunity is now gone unless they are planning to open the bowl to AKB worshippers post cup final. At the same time, the fact that he declined to take part in the end of season parade suggests he's happy to go quietly and feels we are ungrateful.

If we get hammered on Saturday, I fail to see how he can stay. I reckon it's still weighted in favour of the old *word censored* staying but a thrashing or a shit performance could just make his position finally untenable.

And that after they sacked their last manager who finished 5th and won a cup.

Maureen wins another European trophy. What's he got now? Two European Cups and a UEFA cup. What's Wanker got in Europe? Oh, yeah, fuck all.

I just turned talk sport on in the car on the way home from work, and the first words I heard were....
"So you think he's staying"
"Yes, he's definitely staying"
"So there's been these rumours about a 2yr contract...is it already signed?"
"No, It's not signed. It's been on the table since October/November and in the last few weeks the board have decided that they definitely want him to stay on.. The only way Wenger wont sign it, is if he decides he wants to leave himself.....but he'd never leave Arsenal in the lurch like that"

At this point I shout at the radio "IN THE FUCKING LURCH?!!!!"......but the anger quickly subsides, and turns into a devastating, dark, acceptance of the inevitable...and with tears I'm my eyes, I realise it's all over and slowly turn my car towards the on coming traffic.

Then, just in time, I hear the words "Thanks crossy....that was the fantastic John Cross of the daily mirror".

OH FFS!!!!, who let's that prick spout his shit on the radio. He's probably the only bloke in the world who comes out with more shit then Wenger himself. And, like Wenger, nobody picks him up on his lies and inconsistencies either.

I just want to know what the fuck is going on....im bored of the whole fucking charade!!!

This ^^ Not only is it infuriating that he can get away with it, but i'm bored of the whole sorry saga now, it's become beyond embarrassing and for a man who supposedly loves the club he has a funny way of showing it  :banghead: :cussing:
