As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Let it go mate,we have no defence,no plan B,an egotist for a manager, and a bean counter for an owner.
We will get tonked 3-1,and all will be rosy in the Wenker garden as he announces his contract extension by Wednesday.
You can then do your best,"I don't believe it," face.
I think you're right.
Shame, as I used to love Cup Final day...
I think that Ospina is even fucking worse than the lamppost but no huge feelings.
But surely the fact that Wenger now plays his reserve keeper in finals whereas he didn't back in the early 2000s is a black and white indicator that he cares less about winning trophies?
It's hardly like we've got better reserve keepers now, you'd take th likes of Manninger or Wright over the likes of Flappy and Ospina. Would we have won the 2005 cup final with almunia instead of Lehmann? Unlikely.
The Guardian reporting Cech will miss the Final due to a slight injury picked up in training this week.If I was a manager for 30yrs I would have played Ospina in the last few games of the PL in case such a scenario like a Cech injury might have happened, just to give him match practice, but then again I'm not getting 8m a season.
Wasn't optimistic about our chances anyway, but we have no chance now, chavs will score 1st and within 10 mins of the 1st goal they will get a 2nd.Hope I Am wrong though.

overshadowing what should be one of the great days is a senile, selfish dictator who refuses to leave, even though it is blindingly obvious his best days are behind him.
Part of me hopes we still win, part of me hopes we get humiliated just to show the world how bad things now are at the club.
Imagine claiming your support your team and then stating you hope they lose......
I can't wait until tomorrow. A day drinking in the sun with fellow Arsenal fans and then heading to Wembley to contest in the oldest club competition in the world against our local rivals.
Wenger has clearly signed his contract. It will be announced on Monday. I suggest you get behind the team next season or you have a sabbatical and then return when we have a new manager.
Hmmm, let's see......The Old Fraud is currently 67 years of age; as long as there's breath in his skinny frame he'll never leave the Club without being pushed; he's apparently a health freak when it comes to diet and exercise; he's as stubborn as they come, so is likely to tell the Grim Reaper to fuck off a few times before he finally succumbs; so I expect him to be about 92 before they carry him out in a box.
All in all, Laughing Gooner, it's looking like a 25 year sabbatical for me. Be sure to keep laughing through the next quarter century won't you ?
Well if ever AW has proven himself to be a senile twat this has to be it. Drop an experienced GK who has seen it all for a man, who nearly single handedly cost us our CL last 16 place last season with his epic fumble.

Ohh dear I need a drink already.
No different from the last two finals really. Again, thinks he owes something to an exiting fucking nobody and stakes a trophy on it.
Anyway, fuck it. Don't think Wenger's future depends on this in any way, no real excitement unlike every single other cup final we've ever been involved in, but hope we win it and will be f-ing and blinding watching it with my old man with a few beers.

If we don't win (and we won't), then Chelsea have to win by 3 or 4 to give those opposing Wenger on the board enough ammunition.
If you think the outcome won't make a difference, enjoy the day in your happy haze. I am clear on what we need to see and why.
If it was a straight fight between winning tomorrow or Wenger going, sadly I know what I would choose.
But I don't really think that Wenger's future will be contingent on the result tomorrow. That would imply that the board places some sort of emphasis on success and winning trophies.
