Re: Chelsea (N) | FA CUP FINAL | Sat 27 May 2017 | 17:30
HOLY FUCK! WE WON THE CUP!
I was shocked when we scored early on. Thank you, Alexis Sanchez - FUCKING PAY HIM! Ramsey looked to be called offside, but luckily the referee bought some time and overruled the linesman. The ball was booted onto Sanchez's arms, but there was nothing he could do about that from that close range. The Old Fraud unusually gave some direction from the touchline and didn't sit on his arse for a while. Costa is a nasty cúnt. He hauled down Holding and tried to kick him in the head.
Nice to see Sanchez having another crack from distance. I'm amazed how often he does that, knowing the team's standing orders from TOF to never shoot from distance and to pass it sideways endlessly. We were very unlucky not to go 2-0 up via Ozil and Welbeck, with Cahill clearing off the line. Chelsea looked rattled and we looked bang up for it which was uncharacteristic of both teams. Welbeck hit the post.
I was worried for Ospina when Cúnta hit him on the head with a glancing blow. Luckily he was okay. Welbeck was unlucky not to score once again; Ramsey was open, but I felt Courtois had already reduced the options. Another good attack down the right into their box from Sanchez was ruined by Welbeck slipping over. Sanchez almost slipped himself, but was still able to win a corner. At the other end, Pedro put it over the bar. Monreal gave away a nothing free kick, which Alonso also put over the bar. The first half went so much better than we could have expected, but were unlucky not to be four goals up already. Three at the back works pretty well for us, as we otherwise only have two at the back, with our non-defending 'full-backs'. Mertesacker was surprisingly good too, no doubt thanks to the new formation.
Chelsea started brightly. Thankfully Ospina saved a deflected shot, which could have been dangerous. Another save soon after from Moses. Holding was harshly booked for a nothing challenge on Cúnta, who went down easily. Bellerin wasted a good chance on the break at the other end with a poor ball. Pedro shot wide. I just hoped we could weather this storm and close the game, which is not typical of this era of Arsenal.
The Cúntalan Rat came on for Chelsea to some well deserved boos. TOF was back on the touchline, pointing around. Bellerin had a shot saved. The Rat shot wide. Moses was sent off for a second yellow, after a scandalous dive in our box and for hauling Welbeck down on the touchline earlier on. That seemingly improved our chances of holding on to the lead. I seen that The Syrup was at Wembley, he's looking old.
Cúnta scored Chelsea's equalizer thanks to a deflection from Mertesacker and weak hands from Ospina. The 70 minute substitute of Welbeck for Giroud came seven minutes late. Giroud cut the ball back into the box for his love-child brother, Hollywood Ramsey to head in for 2-1. Unbelievable! I had thought we would lose this after extra time. His second 'Charlie George moment' after 2014; perhaps an 'Alan Sunderland moment' too! I guess we'll have to forgive him for another three years of wasting the ball, but if he wins finals for us, so be it.
Coquelin came on and got booked. Bellerin was unlucky not to score, just putting the ball wide. Ospina somehow saved from Cúnta, who could have made it 2-2. Ozil was very unlucky to hit the post at the other end and had another chance in injury time. Sanchez had a well deserved ovation when he was substituted.
SHOCK VICTORY!
I dearly hope this isn't the last we see of Sanchez as an Arsenal player and that this is the last time we see Wenger as Arsenal manager. Unfortunately, it will likely be the opposite way around, as our fraud manager will likely stay on to continue the purgatory whilst Sanchez will go to a better side with a better manager, wherever he goes.
Well done to the players, who did so much better than expected today and fucked Chelsea's double and stopped them from avenging 2002. Congratulations Wenger... NOW GO!
I am gutted that there's no cup parade in Islington tomorrow. Fucking gutted

Got to say barring the odd mistake our defence were very good today, especially considering they hadn't played as a 3 and BGV had only played about 50 mins this season

Before the game I was in two minds and thinking short term pain for long term gain? However as soon as it kicked off I just wanted to beat the classless chav fuckers and that debate is for another day as far as I'm concerned.
Outstanding performances all round!
BFG, Holding and Monreal as a back 3 - never in doubt!!
