Martin Keown. 'Arsene Wenger has overindulged in Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil and must sell them both'.
Honest to fucking god, I really dont get the notion that some fans have, in wanting to keep Wenger but sell Sanchez and Ozil.
Who does Martin think we could replace Sanchez with? Because I for one think if Sanchez goes, that its highly likely Giroud will be our starting striker next season.
Some of our ex players are either thick as fuck, or are so invested in the idea only Wenger can manage Arsenal, that they will spew out such insane commentary to prop Wenger up
Tbh, everything is such a mind fuck right now at the club. Ex players are coming out spouting garbage while saying they back the man that is bringing us down, I mean whats going on? Could you ever imagine Keown saying to sell Henry and Bergkamp during invincible era because Wenger overindulges in them? Biggest crock of shit Ive heard.

Yep. Keown has been absolutely unbearable this year. One minute he thinks Wenger should definitely leave, the next minute he is trying to portray two players as bearings on the club and not bigger then the club...hold on Martin...didn't a bloke just sign a new two year contract based on 13 years of failure? But I thought no one was bigger then the club?
Wenger has no idea how to manage big situations and big players. Every single ex-player has noted this that he can't handle big players with big personalities. Look at how many top players have left. Proof is in the pudding.
He is no Ferguson. Look at Ferguson with the Rooney situation. Didn't give in to his demands and gave him an absolute rollicking.
Imagine Wenger giving someone a rollicking? They'd be on the floor laughing at his skinny malnourished bony body.

Totally agree mate, this shite from Keown comes just days after Wright is in the papers telling us it will be a disaster if Wenger goes.
Its almost as if they have both been manipulated by the club into preparing the fans for whats coming ... but doing so in a way that makes it sound like its the best option all round.
Although I'm sure some might use this as spin to promote Kroenke (who knows why?), at least this puts some more pressure on Kroenke and therefore indirectly on Wenger.
I hope Usmanov is in for the long game here, he can feed off the toxicity and use it to his advantage and may one day gain control, even if it seems unlikely at present.
Also if he does sell his stake then I can't see it being to Kroenke, which is of upmost importance, we can't let the cowboy get full control or we really are finished.
So what do we all reckon, is Usmanov really happy that Wenger has signed or is he still trying to get AKBs on his side?
Do we reckon he will put in a higher bid or will he disappear until it goes south again (which it will)?
I think he genuinely is happy that Wenger is staying, the thing is I think Kroenke & Wenger are the worst possible combo, both are cheap skates who consider financial success above sporting success, Usmanov is being naive thinking just giving Wenger £200M+ will fix all the issues but I think he would work that out pretty quickly if Wenger still ended up producing another groundhog season after splashing a fortune, he may even refuse to spend it!, after all he once said he would give the money back, I'm not sure this would go down so well with Usmanov as it does with Kroenke.
Is anyone really buying Kroenke's statement today?, Silent Stan does speak then but to be honest who gives a toss what he says?, all his actions contradict what he said, I think Kroenke will sell at some stage, sadly it will be a long way down the line when he's probably dragged us down to midtable and the fans are either slating him or more likely just not bothering to turn up in very sizable number. Fiszman, Brace-well Smith, Dein, PHW - all should be ashamed of themselves for selling out to this c**t, though in fairness to Dein I think he realised his error and that is why he sided with Usmanov later on.
The Keown statement is a media management intervention from the club to soften reaction when they are sold this summer. Right now following the FA Cup performance its all "Sanchez and Özil are vital to Arsenal and must be kept" so brown nose Keown iis getting a counter view out there to help spin it as a positive. Arsenal could make them play the last year of their contract but there is no way Kroenke's Arsenal will let these valuable asset depreciate to zero. As selling them will actually be a club decision the need to spin now is obvious.

How can these two frauds go about their daily lives knowing how much they lie and how much tripe they spout?
Honestly.
A series of generic statements all done behind closed doors and away from the glaring eyes of the media. It says 'Arsene message to the fan' but was it really? John Cross must be distraught he wasn't invited.
But seriously this is how a classy club behaves. Gazidis talking about how they knew the message leaked 24hrs before and wanted to do things properly. Who leaked it? All season there was no leaks but suddenly we get a flurry of stories he's agreed to sign in advance of any official announcement. There was none of the obligatory photo call with Wenger putting pen to paper and I'm starting to believe those who speculated a while back that the contract was signed a long time ago.
What all of this proves is that Wenger is not going anywhere anytime soon. The wig wearing cunnt will turn up in his pin stripped suit every other couple of years and hand him a brand new contract.
