Bristol or hull

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hull is nuts on a weekend night, Northern town with geezers in short sleeves whatever the weather and beer everywhere, sort of a mini Newcastle.

Bristol..that is a different vibe...quite like a trip down there, make a change.

Just want a good game, may the best team win.

Don't they think themselves almost a seperate country in Hull?
There is something a bit weird like that.

Good man

Bristol's a beautiful city by the way...not so sure about Hull though. Weren't they voted "Worst city in England" a couple of years back?
- now, I've been to Middlesbrough, and some god awful places in the midlands and Yorkshire...so God only knows what Hull must be like to be voted worst of 'em all! :?

Hull was 2nd in this year's list of worst towns to live in, second only to MIddlesborough

God tried his best to flood the place last year but there's still boarded up pubs a plenty, tattoo shops gallore and some of the shittiest hotels in town. The night life is good though !!

Remember nearly getting a kicking down at Bristol City in the 70s, we thought they were a bunch of country bumpkins but we were wrong :? Respect to them and hope they come up, got to support the southern side against a bunch of northern monkeys any day 8)

Hull will be like what the trip to Burnley was like this season (if anyone went you'll know what I'm talking about)...kicked off good and proper up there with anyone in Arsenal colours getting a kicking.

So hence perfer Bristol, it's closer and perfer going there than some northern outpost, Hulls new ground looks like one of these typical new stadiums too, out of city, no uniqueness.

So I say Bristol

I'd be happy to see Bristol come up.

No real reason...never been to either Hull or Bristol but Skins was filmed in Bristol and so it gets my vote.
