Changes I'd like to see in the EPL.

Despite thats there's only 2 other teams in the whole of EPl I even half like I reckon it's by far the best league in the world. Still there are a few changes I'd like to see:

A maximum limit of what the clubs can spend on a transfer with another English club, say 15m:
This will bring down the crazy money on british talent and prevent Cska Russia to piuck em up for 25m and putting them on the bench.

More protection for refs.
The biggets problem today with the ref's is that noone really knows what you can say or do or what ur allowed to do or not. It has to be clearer rules. For me, I'd say nobody should be allowed to talk to the ref all. Also after the game managers should not be allowed to mention referes performances in public, instead if they have a proper complaint they should have to report it to the FA. In return the refs would have to come out and publiclyexplain if they've given a dodgy decision.

I reckon the clubs that doesn't outprice their proper fans will be the winners in a few years when football ain't fashionable anymore. Lets face it...the fans that has been outpriced at Arsenal already have found other clubs, like Barnet or Orient, to follow and won't come back again.

Sorry, know this one isn't popular, especially around here. Me, I couldn't care less about the English national team since there's not 1 single player I like there anymore. However, we are playing in the England and not to have 1 single Englishman is taking the piss a little.

Something like an extra point for scoring 5 or more goals in a match..would it just benefit the big 3 and liverpool against the lesser team..or would it make average teams like everton,villa etc going for the jogular against the big 3 and liverpool..would it even prevent relegation threatened teams putting 11 behind the ball?

that £25 million that proved useful in staving off City's debt would now be less? Why punish the selling club?

Agree with most of that, do think one player should be allowed to speak to the ref over confusion. It is when they abuse or harass ref's that I object

I prefer a free market. If the prices are too high, people won't go and so the prices will be forced down.

when England's youth system is done properly and to a high standard, it is improving but not fast enough yet, then we will be playing many English players that can play our passing style football. Our own academy is starting to bear fruit

interesting but still shafting the selling club who might be forced under £10 million to avoid losing part of the transfer fee

I would like a cap on debt, a ban on club owners buying clubs then putting it against the club and maybe a salary cap for the safety of the clubs. The Fa to have a stronger investigation unit, access to club's accounts. Would like more money put into Fa's hands rather then EPL and more turned to youth academies

Nah thats a terrible idea in my opinion. Why would teams stop puttin 11men behind the ball?
I Don't think there's any need to mess with the points system.

I would like football to use the system by where only the captain can talk to the ref, like in rugby.

I like a lot of the NFL rules and think many could be considered.

Mainly I'd like to see a lot of power taken away from players. So would love to see the rule of contracts not being gauranteed and only a portion of the total amount being paid up front and the rest of the contract linked in incentive's

This way players would firstly have to earn their dough. They couldn't sit back and wait on £75k a week, it would need to be linked to performances and other factors like goal scored, clean sheets or minutes on the pitch.

Also if contracts were not gauranteed clubs could cut loose players who were not performing without having to pay them off huge lump sums like we did to Campbell and Ljungberg. And players being arrested for questionable activities could just be cancelled without costing clubs, even a situation where players would have to pay back the clubs might arise for the worst offenders.

Obviously certain fail safe's would need to be brought in to stop clubs weilding too much power and career ending injuries exempt from having the players contract cancelled.

Being two totally different sports it couldn't just export like for like but I feel it would have some very good merits.
