On the other hand you have to be 'in it, to win it'Nos89 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 16, 2017 5:02 pmI do get annoyed with players who come out with statements like Sanchez has made about the champions league. We came no closer to winning the competition since he joined us then we will next season by not being in the competition. Unless he joins Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich or Manchester United then he won't come any closer next season.

I can understand Sanchez's decision, he has played his guts out for us for 3 years and we are further behind now than when he joined, add to that enhanced pay, signing bonus and a chance to play under a manager with a winning mentality (not necessarily a winning club) and it's a no brainer.
All this bollocks about not being loyal, bad attitude etc, well screw that, by re-signing Wenger to a new contract the club showed exactly where it stands, as for the hypocritical fans well lets ask Nick, Armchair, Sean, Mark etc where all these fans were in showing their love and loyalty to the club when the protests were on.
Any fan who accuses Sanchez of disloyalty needs to take a long hard look at themselves, players are mercenaries out to earn as much money and glory as they can in what is effectively a very short career. Fans on the other hand are supposed to be life long loyal to the club but in our fans cases they are happy to sit back and watch the club stagnate and regress under the current leadership but a player fucks off for glory and money and they are the devil incarnate
