I do get annoyed with players who come out with statements like Sanchez has made about the champions league. We came no closer to winning the competition since he joined us then we will next season by not being in the competition. Unless he joins Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich or Manchester United then he won't come any closer next season.
On the other hand you have to be 'in it, to win it'

I can understand Sanchez's decision, he has played his guts out for us for 3 years and we are further behind now than when he joined, add to that enhanced pay, signing bonus and a chance to play under a manager with a winning mentality (not necessarily a winning club) and it's a no brainer.

All this bollocks about not being loyal, bad attitude etc, well screw that, by re-signing Wenger to a new contract the club showed exactly where it stands, as for the hypocritical fans well lets ask Nick, Armchair, Sean, Mark etc where all these fans were in showing their love and loyalty to the club when the protests were on.

Any fan who accuses Sanchez of disloyalty needs to take a long hard look at themselves, players are mercenaries out to earn as much money and glory as they can in what is effectively a very short career. Fans on the other hand are supposed to be life long loyal to the club but in our fans cases they are happy to sit back and watch the club stagnate and regress under the current leadership but a player fucks off for glory and money and they are the devil incarnate :banghead:

Would question Man Utd being in that list....
Also Lying twat Wenger probably sold the initial deal on challenging for the CL,probably saying he would assemble a team to challenge
In fairness Sanchez tried like fuck but was frustrated by the dross around him, at times he looked totally bemused by it all
We was better with him, he was carrying that shite for the last 3 years, i love the bloke, great player, and sadly missed if he goes

As I said Sanchez is a greedy can't and City are a small club with mega cash. If he wanted to win things he could have lowered his wage demand and gone to a huge club in Bayern Munich. Hope he breaks his leg. 400k a week for kicking a bag of wind
I see the Arsene PLC PR spin machine has worked nicely..

"Greedy Sanchez leaves for £££"

Meanwhile we are becoming a midtable Europa league joke club waiting for epic Thursday night encounters against Dynamo Brest and Locamotiv Plopdiv (made that one up) and it's all down to that greedy Chilean b*stard!!.

 :banghead:  :banghead:
It's nothing to do with spin. Sanchez says he want's to win the Champions League so why go to City? They where bang on average last season, not even close to competing with Chelski. Don't forget they where arse raped by Monaco much in the same way BM turned us over.

Although it's early doors in the transfer window, City would need to pretty much ship out half their squad and replace it with top draw players in nearly every position to have a hope of winning the CL. They are truly a long way behind Europe's elite right now (unfortunately so are we).

Sanchez probably only has 4 seasons left as first choice striker in any European team, and seriously if he wants to win the fucker he needs to go to RM or Bayern Munich. Guardiola has the toughest challenge of his life winning the PL let alone the CL.

I would rather offer Sanchez to BM for £30m than £80m to City.

It's just a case of the greedy modern footballer. Arsenal are a huge club supported world wide with a massive history. City are a small club run by a Country. I think Pep is a great manager but I bet with their leaky defence they have no chance of winning the Premier let alone the Champ League. 50 Million for Kyle Walker with stones next to him does not scare me. Sanchez is in it for the money it's no spin.

Mate, stop banging on about the money. He's a rich man who's being offered £250k a week to stay plus extras. Can't think an extra £100k a week really changes things. He's bored out of his skull, frustrated with a Manager who's past his sell by date and this is his last long term contract. Would you want to sign up again with Mr 30 years?
Will be a real kick in the bollocks when he leaves

I don't buy this Sanchez is in it for the money line at all. I think he wants to win some major trophies before his career ends. It is obvious he is driven and ambitious, even if he sometimes demonstrates that by carrying on like a little bitch.

You have to remember that most players at the top end of the game sign for clubs based on what the manager of that club tells them about the club going forward and their vital role in that. The money at the top end kinda blurs into silly incomprehensible figures and I doubt Sanchez is that worried whether he is on £150K per week or £250K per week tbh. Either way, after a few years at the top he is set for life.

He wants glory. He wants to win medals. Baldy Guadiola has most likely been in his ear and Sanchez is probably very flattered that a top manager like that wants him. Whether Guadiola can deliver what he promises is not the point, the point is he has most likely convinced Sanchez he can.

Our scumbag PR people will protect Wenger and paint Sanchez as another RVJC, betraying the club and being a greedy self centred crunt etc. But for me the difference is VanJudasCuntface gave us fuck all effort for 7 or 8 seasons, and then cashed in his one good season after we had carried his injured arse for years and paid him a fortune, whereas Sanchez has busted a gut since day one and given everything.

VanCuntFeatures let us down. We, as a club, have let Sanchez down.

Nothing stopping the club doing this.. of course it is then up to Sanchez to choose, I'm fairly sure he'd be happy to go to Bayern.

Would Stan be happy to drop £40-50M for the sake of not selling to a rival?, probably not because he's a :censored: .

Wenger would just go along with Stan like the company man he's is. :censored:

So Chelsea get their man from Monaco, City also get their man and also may get Mendy, but Arsenal well of course not we go after sloppy seconds instead - Mahrez incoming!.

This is what happens when you dither and don't make them an offer they can't refuse. City got Silva in before the exodus because that's a forward thinking club and they knew Monaco would be reluctant to let all their star players go in one window.

A few people said it's pretty much done with the player and Monaco are just playing hardball. I get the feeling Wenger is dithering because they haven't decided when and where to sell Sanchez so it's having a knock on effect. Lemar would be Sanchez' replacement.

And if the media speculation is even near right, that we are offering him £250k a week plus incentives to stay, and Citeh will offer him £400k, then you'd have to think he genuinely wants to leave mostly because he wants to play in the CL and be at a club that have ambition and are not trying to be a business. I agree that Citeh (like the chavs) are a small pimped club historically, but they are willing to spend what it takes to win the big prizes which, in the short term at least, makes them contenders.

Speaking of willingness to spend, and cúnts, nice to see old cuntface Moron-hio (the "greatest living manager ever" ©ItchyBaba) going down his usual road to try and buy trophies for Manure by just endlessly throwing millions and millions at it. Conservative estimates in the media are he will splash £300 million in this window and more outlandish estimates say £400 million plus. Just on transfers. Then add the wages to that.

That first £157 million he spent last year didn't quite cut it huh? Utter wánker. :box: :censored:

You just don't get 'it' do you. You obviously believe the Wenger PR Machine and all the crap they spout when they want to do 'a job' on someone.

Alexis is a rich man already , he is one of the best ten forwards in the world, he is signed to us, a club with a manager who is incapable of winning the prem title EVER Again regardless of whom we have playing for us. Alexis knows this as do we all; well except for a few people on here who somehow still live in La La Land and think Wenger is Not Past his Sell-By-Date.

I truly, truly hope that Alexis does stay, simply because I enjoy watching him in the Red & White of Arsenal FC, That IS Arsenal FC Not Arsene fc.

Any player with an iota of sense will try and get the best financial deal they can - But in the end there is only so much they can earn and spend and with a short-span career only so many seasons and opportunities to win the trophies/medals.

Wenger is Totally and Utterly at Fault in this situation, had he been a football manager of worth instead of a lying, delusional financial despot - Alexis, Ozil and The Ox would have had new contracts Signed, Sealed and Done Last Year, instead Wenger leaves it till now - whilst still offering generous and ill-thought out deals to the likes of BGV, walcott and ramsey all of whom are not good enough to wear the shirt; Carzorla is now past his prime and yet Wenger in his infinite stupidity still offers him a deal even though it looks like he is going to be side-lined for a further 6 to 8 months with his ongoing injury.
