he's still not formally submitted a transfer request. this gives me the impression he is going to see out his contract then leave on a free next season, which we absolutely cannot do.

we have to sell, and by that of course keep telling clubs he is not for sale to get the best possible price. hopefully psg or citeh get really desperate and by the end of the window they're bidding obscene amounts.

The Sanchez situation is ground hog day all over again. We had this with Cesc, Nasri and RVP. Players unhappy, wanting out to go to a club they believe will win them trophies and of course a nice big bumper pay out.

Never been a fan of players pushing for moves and not playing. We need rid ASAP and get as shed load of cash for him. No point holding on to him for one more year, just sulking around, feigning injuries and letting him leave for eff all.

Since he joined us the bloke wanted to play every game, he hated it if he missed a match and now he's pretending he's got flu and can't play. Bloody Joke

Chelsea had the right idea, Costa was trouble, Conte knew that and has decided to get rid, and replaced him with a £70m replacement.

The difference is Conte doesn't take shit, Wenger does, this will frag on for a few more weeks.

:D :D :D :D

That's wrong with this club. NO backbone, An owner who is weak as a runny shit and spends more time in the States counting cash, Gazidis i still don't know what he does for his money and Wenger a bloke who is not unanswerable to anyone and won't make brave or strong decisions. How much dross has come to Arsenal in the last 10 years and has either been overpaid for mediocrity or just left with in one or two seasons of doing nothing.

Diaby, Sanogo, Park just name a few. Why hasn't anyone at the club been question about the spending of £16m on Perez. :? Hasn't played and diidn't stand a chance either.

The irony being he is a very good player but wengerthecunt just wouldn't give him a chance , preferring to play shyte like walcott, ramsey and iwobi week in week out even though they were awful, not only is it criminal it shows an absolute level of egotism and insanity that has no place in a perm club.

and whats even sadder is that he spunked 50m on Lacazette who although I know is early days so far looks utter crap yet we already have a player in Perez who from what we saw looks better than Lacazette by a country mile ,its utter madness

Why do you think he pretending then?
Didn't Ozil have flu a couple of times last year, footballers aren't immune to it.

Yes he did and had like 2 weeks off in January as well but for some reason this is different?, even though the contract situation is exactly the same?.

Indeed I think he was pictured several times looking 'well' out and about during this time but there was no agenda for the Arsenal PR spin machine so not much was said.

Hilarious that Perez is still here. A bloke who was frozen out all season, made it clear he wanted to go and then had his shirt number given away... and we can't get rid of him because we overpaid for him and his wages are probably twice what he could expect if he went back to somewhere like Deportivo.

The price of footballers has pretty much trebled in the last 5 years, and so far we've signed Lacazette and some unknown left back. Absolute pennies in today's market, just look at what the other clubs are spending. As usual rather than trying to buy players we are investing all of our time and effort into trying to figure out how to get rid of them.
I don't understand the fuss over the number 9 shirt...it's frigging cursed. Perez should be relieved that it's no longer his he might get a decent run out. I wonder if he does go if he gets to wear the number 9 shirt at his next club?

It wouldn't be cursed if we had a quality player playing in it - it is easy to put average or shite players into the jersey and then claim the number is jinxed when the player concerned cant hit a cows arse from 5 yards

Yeah Sanchez is a c*nt for showing some ambition, where as Wenger, Kroenke, the board and half our squad are not c*nts for not showing one tiny bit of ambition?.

:rubchin:
Funny how it always comes back to the manager. Why do Gooners these days have to blame everything on the manager rather than the player? Too many agenda's on this and other threads imo, and that is coming from someone who wants Wenger out.

We have had protracted transfer saga's for years, remember Vieira and Henry every summer?

As for showing ambition, I would say adding Lemar to the squad plus a good Centre Back is probably our best summer in the transfer market for over a decade.

Going back to the player, it would be nice to have someone who identifies with what being an Arsenal player means. In the current first team, there are very few.
didn't see our best player wanting to leave from 98-2004 when wenger was the best, this demise and players attitude is because wenger is an arse well past his sell by date, you don't see the top players wanting out of city, utd, chelsea etc because they are gonna be after the big prizes,im sorry but this all comes back to TOF
Really, Vieira was in the shop window every summer! So was Henry in the last few seasons before he left.

As I said agendas......
