From the BBC Footie website:

Arsene Wenger has told Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez, 28, he will not be sold to another English club this summer. (Times - subscription required)

Notice how the wording has changed from ‘Will not be sold’ to ‘Will not be sold to another English club this summer’

Arsenal are weighing up a move for 26-year-old Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri.(ESPN)

That sounds about par for the course that is wenker – another cheap very average French player

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, 28, plans to stay and fight for his place at the club next season.(London Evening Standard)

Good luck with that – Pete The Plank is one of wenker’s chosen favourites and will still be in goal in 5 years time…even on his zimmer frame..
Seri is from the Ivory coast
Will you be able to sleep at night if we change that to "another cheap very average player from the French league"?
I sleep very well thank you
I like to be corrected when I make a mistake
All part of the continuing process of education
Watched the 2 nd half of Ajax v nice last night on an iPad
Until that point I had never seen seri before
Because of the late away goal it was an interesting game
I have no idea weather seri is average or not
But whilst absolutly sick of Wenger kronke and the loser mentality they have engendered at the club
I will never buy into the absolute doom fest that seems to infect so many

When are the badly needed signings coming in????

Midfielder, Goalkeeper, Defender all needed

unless he strengthens going to be very difficult next season

When are the deadwood getting shipped out???

Only got rid of Sezesney so far and he was useful....
Now Martinez is sent on loan, another useful prospect, meanwhile ALL the deadwood remains.......

did he not say there would be a lot of outgoings....understand its pointless quoting him its all lies and bullshit

Absolutely. Nothing will change because he won't change. The two players signed will do nothing to change anything and he's again responsible for this. He can't identify the weaknesses and has no idea of the type of player the club needs.
Most summers, he fannies about commentating on French TV and ignores his actually job but this year, he's managed to surpass himself by spending more time advising a Monaco player about his career prospects than doing his fucking job.

BBC Website:

"Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, 25, wants to stay and fight for a place at the club, despite interest from Italian side Sampdoria. (Daily Telegraph)"

Yet another player who is on Ridiculously High Wages that he wouldn't get anywhere else... 'stay and fight for the money more like' :?

I would like to take this opportunity to laugh uproariously at the very fact that Barcelona are getting all whiny at another club tapping up and buying one of their better players after they've been doing that for years. :D
Fuck off, you're second rate now. And don't take the piss out of richer clubs when you cheat and dive your way past them in a chumps league game which you've probably paid to fix because they'll come back and humiliate you in front of the world.Ha fucking ha you utter arrogant *word censored*. The wheel has turned.

It gets worse, apparently Neymar's lawyers turned up to pay his release fee, which was rejected by La Liga as they (La Liga) is positing that "state-backed clubs that compete using 'financial doping' could destabilise professional football in Europe".

Conveniently ignoring the facts that Real Madrid and Barcelona enjoy tax breaks not available to other clubs and are basically state funded.

The fucking hypocrisy is hilarious really.  The Whores and Madrid operate at a level of corruption and pimping that other clubs can't even comprehend. :censored:

I despise both clubs and I hate these wánker fans (looking at you augie!! ) that swoon and simper over the disgusting dive and cheat fest that is El Clásico. :box: :censored:

I think the situation is that La Liga's insistence on buyout clauses in contracts was a response to EU restraint of trade missives and that they can only be triggered by the contracted player himself, not by a third-party.
The reports here are that PSG's representatives turned up to trigger the buyout clause. If PSG give Neymar the 190 million, he can take it to the Spanish FA in Madrid and buy himself out of his contract.

I think La Liga are gutted they are losing a top star player. They don't have the best league but they have the best players. Ronaldo, Messi, Griezmann, Suarez, Bale etc.
Losing Neymar is a slap to both Barcelona and La Liga but it makes you think about the Premier League.
We have the most money but the very best players are all at Spain's top clubs. Maybe that's why our teams are shite in the Champions League.
