Lo and behold

Wenger's stance on Sanchez has now shifted :-
'We want to keep him...... But we have sold big players before.....my decision....but I follow the Board....' is the short hand, of his latest missive.
If that isn't inviting City to make a big bid on Monday afternoon I don't know what is ?
And it is a 180 degree turn from what we have been hearing all summer.
This is teeing it up perfectly to back track. Sell Sanchez at the last moment, with no time or likelihood of a replacement.
If they had sold Sanchez a month back and got a credible replacement in, I don't think too many could have complained as Sanchez obviously wants away.
But if they leave it the last minute and get no replacement they really are digging a big grave for themselves because even some of our bovine support, will turn at this.
