THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Everything appears so irrational from the outside because the fraud is totally disconnected from the fans although no doubt the protests have made him acutely aware of the level antipathy towards him. Sporting dictators are the hardest to shift and I see no end in sight. It's not like there's an election where someone could challenge him like Blatter or Platini. As I mentioned the other day, he could be here for another 6-7years by which time the club would've completely lost its identity. Perhaps a whistle-blower could kick start a scandal from inside the club and force his resignation. Where's the fake Sheikh when you need him.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
The club is already sending the signals Sanchez and Chamberlain will be sold.
Just as I said would happen. Wait until the last days of the transfer window, sell them both, then turn around and say 'we tried to find a replacement, but it was too late'.
Its always been the intentions of Wenger and the board to sell Sanchez, and it would now seem Chamberlain. They just needed to wait until the last days of the window, because if they sold earlier on, then they face intense pressure to spend the money on a replacement.
We will turn a profit this transfer window, and we will be lighter and less potent in attack. We will also strengthen Chelsea and Man City, and with Man United finding thier feet, its obvious the target is to pip Liverpool or Tottenham to 4th. In fact, the reports indicate today, that the club want to seel Chamberlain to Chelsea, as they view Liverpool as direct rivals for 4th. In other words - the club is not only ok with Chelsea finishing above us, but they have accepted it only 2 weeks into the season.
All the talk of going for the title, and how we can concentrate on the league because we are not in the CL - it was all rubbish. There was never any intention to shake things up, and make a real go for the title. The profit before football mantra still reigns supreme. Nothing has changed, and it never will, and I cannot comprehend why all the time, fans, pundits ect are sold on the idea that Wenger will change.
There is the saying, fool me once, shame on you, fool be twice, shame on me. So really, is it Wenger we need to call out, or the fans and pundits who prop Wenger up by constantly being fooled by this serial liar?
Why does Martin Keown have the right to have an opinion on Arsenal FC?
I view Martin Keown as an Arsene FC fan, not an Arsenal FC fan. How many times can that thick fuk fall for it?

Two words

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I can't see them letting Sanchez go after all that has been said about him staying, I know we have a track record for this but the circumstances are very different now, there is no money excuse (there wasn't when we sold Nasri/Fabregas/RVP either) but even more so now, a recipe for a PR disaster.Wilson wrote: ↑Sun Aug 27, 2017 2:12 amThe club is already sending the signals Sanchez and Chamberlain will be sold.

In the end it is up to the fans to react, if they just accept this sort of s**t from the greedy old farts running the club then it will continue, I drew the line back in 2015, which was late enough to see what the agenda was, if the club can still sell 50,000 odd tickets most of the time to 'zombie' fans then sadly I think we'll become another Everton, as in very good in the 80's then pretty much midtable ever since.
They say you have to be cruel to be kind and I think that is the case here - starve the greedy old farts and they might leave, keep feeding them and they will keep their fat snouts in the trough.
Or at least if you "must go" then spend your time holding banners, chanting against the owner/manager, it doesn't really matter, just make them feel unconfortable, that is what I would do if I still went.. all this crap about getting behind the 'club', the club needs to give fans a reason to get behind 'it' rather than peddling the same old sh*t all the time and then taking 10% or whatever off tickets because we aren't in the 4th place trophy, not good enough by far.

“What we have in the transfer market in the next three or four days I don’t know.”
of course you don't you wanker, you have no control over anything, team selection, tactics, mentoring young players, playing 3 at the back without the correct personnel...keeping an over the hill goalkeeper, Zonal marking with no real understanding or preparation, paying rubbish like Wallcott £140, 000 a WEEK to sit in there reserves..... not getting rid of deadwood and ignoring key players contracts so they can now leave for nothing....It is criminal NEGLIGENCE....by an insane man....and he gets over £8 Million a year for this....it has to be a joke???
