THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I really have a feeling this is finally the beginning of the end for him....BUT I also really see a nightmare scenario. I think we'll really struggle over the next few games and I think what will happen is, Kranky will know he has to do something but he will never sack Wonga. He will ask Wonga to 'move upstairs' and be DOF and to join the board, but with total individual control over everything. Wonga will be asked to name his successor and a puppet will come in who does everything Wonga wants. The club will say - we have changed the manager, we are listening to our fans etc etc but in essence, nothing will change except for the fact that Wonga will now be on the board so the chances of getting rid are absolute zero until Kranky sells his shares. This could be the worst thing ever to happen.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
What Ivan has to do now is to go to Kroenke and tell him that wenger is doing severe damage to Arsenal brand and that we need to get rid of him now. Of course that won't happen. I'm afraid Ivan is one more bullshitter among the collection of Arsenal c.unt management group.
It's unbelievable that it has come to this and yet this circus is allowed to continue. This season is going to be different though as the collapse has already started. Happy days.

O dear o dear o dear. What can you say now.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wenger has a direct line to Kroenke now. Gazidis is as useful as a chocolate teapot. He will leave soon.Ed Hunter The Gooner wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 6:51 amWhat Ivan has to do now is to go to Kroenke and tell him that wenger is doing severe damage to Arsenal brand and that we need to get rid of him now. Wonder what are these private issues he was alluding to yesterday. My guess is that he is waiting for players to leave so he can pin the blame on them for being disruptive.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Its almost becoming widely accepted that it was the wrong decision to give Wenger a new deal, and pretty much every pundit it giving a no confidence vote to Wenger.
Yet at the same time, there seems to be no belief that things will change. Its like a perpetual state of misery that must continue because ''only Wenger can manage Arsenal''.

Lads - We can discuss the problems until the cows come home. BUT - the only thing that will end this nightmare is for everybody to join in the protests this time around.
A few of us on here worked really hard to organise the protests last season so when we come calling this season - join in !!!!
We may be doing something as soon as West Brom (Monday 25th Sept) so please please please if you care about Arsenal - join in.

SK hasn't got the stomach to be looking for a new manage mid season. Wonga is here for another 2years and people need to be used to it I'm afraid. The only way change will come is if he walks away but he won't because he's a self absorbed narcissist and a coont.TeeCee wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 6:50 amI really have a feeling this is finally the beginning of the end for him....BUT I also really see a nightmare scenario. Lee is a good lad but unfortunately he's falling into the same trap as these bloggers spouting the usual clichés and having a rant after every loss- the money the club makes, ticket prices, tourists, players etc etc. He went all positive before the cup final.Ed Hunter The Gooner wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 1:47 pmSo many people has nailed it re Wenger during these last three to four years but here is one of them putting it straight and right once again. Focus on the real issues why we lost and call Wenger out for his bullshit. Don't address all and sundry. It dilutes the message.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Last summer kroenke gave a new contract to jeff fisher (head coach of his nfl team) - it would have been seen as a bizarre decision at the time simply cos fisher had overseen a decline of the rams to the point that they were one of the worst nfl teams season after season. However just 2 months into last season the rams decided that enough was enough and sacked fisher as head coach
Obviously I am not saying that the same thing will happen here, or that it is even the same set of circumstances, but what I am saying is that kroenke has previously fired a head coach a few months into his new contract, so I am dreaming that it might happen again
