I thought the next 3 days would be all about off loading..... And I still think it will be and Sanchez & AoC are good as gone but I think we are about to see a trolley dash as well. And now of course all that will be left are those nobody wanted or if they are any good we will be charged twice what they were worth before yesterdays horror show.

Arsene knows.......
Thats what Wenger has said he will off load, but as we know does not always do what he says
Talk of a bid for the Madrid guy Arsenio, that would be typical Wenger, another small attacking midfielder.....
Just forget about the defence......
Tbh I feel sorry for some of our guys...Will Holding ever recover from yesterday???...Bellerin is going backwards...Monreal should be sold...or given away, whichever offer comes first.

The backline obviously gets no coaching and if that isn't bad enough they get no help from the midfield...And THEN, add to that, THREE at the back. Can you imagine what it must be like...three of you at the back with massive holes continually opening up in front of you, attacks coming in waves..it must be absolutely overwhelming, you don't know whether to backpeddle or go meet them. Is it any wonder they constantly look out of position, they are!! And if that's not bad enough you have no leader either on or off the pitch, telling you what to do.

What manager in ANY league ANYWHERE would sit and watch NINE of his players saunter down to the opponents penalty box for a corner. And just sit there while Bellerin is left on his own the to mark the MOTM??? I bet if Cech had decided to join them Bould & Wenger still wouldn't have said anything.

Hilarious that Liverpool have supposedly offered £55.5m for Lemar. Wonga sat in front of the cameras and said 'he's not for sale now, Monaco have closed the door'.....

No, oh King of Cuntyness, you won't pay enough money and now you could be made to look a bigger idiot (some achievement)!!

Yeah it's getting to the stage now where a little bit of you hopes they do sign him, even at our expense, just to embarrass Arsene Stanley PLC even more and further build the rift between company (club) and fans.

Twitter comment of the day from an AKB.." players will not sign for Arsenal because of the fans" ..and others are agreeing with him.

Why not get Costa in on loan till January? Bring Cesc back with him.
Cazorla's out till God knows when.
Why let Gibbs go when Monreal is slower than BFG, it's nacho that should be going.
Welbeck, Chamberlain, Ramsey, Koscielny should be shown the exit door along with Sanchez (if he wants to go).
Van Dijk and William Carvalho should be the only two players on the critical list of arrivals.
You are not going to overcome flaws in philosophy with transfer business. You still need to coach them, set them up properly, give them instructions and instil discipline. Wenger cannot do this on a consistent basis and hasn't done so for the past 13years. In football you are only as good as your last result and this is why the fraud will escape again once he strings together a run of positive results against average opposition. We bounced back against Sutton after Bayern Munich remember.

Agree 100% ..it is not just a case of making the signings anymore...after the Leicester game on opening day we were told that the goals conceded were partly/mainly down to the absentees ..No it was down to the system...you have man marking at set pieces or you have zonal marking or in our case we have pointing at space.
We signed Sanchez and Ozil and now Lacazette. We might as well have kept Gervinho and Park because those players came into a culture of apathy and staleness..Transfers into the club have the effect of a band aid on a deep cut..Short term relief but ineffective.
The problem is so deep rooted that no transfer in will provide anything but short term hope..and hope kills.

I must be a masochist because I'm looking forward to the last few days of the transfer window. Not because of who we sign (obviously) but just to see what sort of squad we have by the end of it.
I've always believed if you don't want to play for The Arsenal....then fuck off. Whatever the reason, be it money, ambition or whatever..see you later.
Unfortunately though, at the moment, it's hard to blame anybody for wanting out...so I certainly won't be booing Sanchez when he rocks up for city later in the season.
I know we joke about him being senile/mental but I genuinely believe Wenger has lost his grip on reality. I didnt think his decisions could get weirder...but this season is a new high/low.
I still wouldn't rule out a ridiculous fee being paid for someone like Lemar, with the books being balanced by sales.
It's certainly going to be an interesting few days. I won't be getting angry tho, maybe we need to plummet new depths of riculousness to start heading in the right direction again...sooner or later somebody in the club has to realise what a farce the whole thing has become. Surely?!!

Wenger came out and said earlier this week that Lemar is no longer available. That might come back to embarrass him (hopefully) as Liverpool have just put in a bid for him. Lemar is not the answer anyway....in fact while Wenger is in charge, nobody is.

We NEED a DEFENSIVE midfielder, we have for over a decade....and until we shore up that midfield we are going nowhere.

After yesterdays horror show, anyone we bid for now, decent or crap, is going to cost double what they were going for on Friday. Who goes into the season underprepared, shows ALL their frailties & weaknesses in their first 3 games to the sellers market, then races out with 3 days of the window still open, to buy players to patch the holes??? We do, that's who.

I'll tell you exactly what he tried to do....he got a freebie in and he bought Lacazette. He would have obviously liked to have kept Ox & Sanchez & sold off Mustafi and whoever else he didn't want. If we had got something at Stoke & yesterday he would have been cock a hoop, declaring himself more than happy with the squad he's got (In fact he already did at his presser before the Pool game) and then with the sales, he would have been in the black, Kroenke would have been thrilled and Wenger would be sitting now with 6 or 7 points and off on the International break. But it has absolutely imploded in the most spectacular fashion. In fact it could not be worse. Beaten by Stoke, HAMMERED by Liverpool, the window about to close, players he wanted to get rid of still here, players he wanted to keep, halfway out the door and now having to rush out, panic stricken into a waiting black market . Absolutely the worst case scenario he could imagine.

It must have dawned on him yesterday, that is why that smug, wolfish grin was nowhere to be seen.

There is work to be done Arsene...off you go with your cheque book...gonna need a big one as well.

I agree, Lemar totally not the answer. I just wouldn't be surprised if there is a panic buy to appease the fans. It'll be a position we don't need and the fee we pay will be double what it should.
I will fucking laugh if the Scousers get Lemar.
